Look, they hurl insults at me and openly threaten to kill me, for they say,“ Who hears?”

群犬晚歸兮。舉狺狺而吠予。

See what they spew from their mouths— the words from their lips are sharp as swords, and they think,“ Who can hear us?”

Listen to what pours out of their mouths. The words from their lips are like swords. They think,“ Who can hear us?”

There they are, bellowing with their mouths with swords in their lips— for“ Who,” they think,“ will hear us?”

Listen to the filth that comes from their mouths; their words cut like swords.“ After all, who can hear us?” they sneer.

Look, they spew from their mouths— sharp words from their lips.“ For who,” they say,“ will hear?”

Behold, they gush forth with their mouths; Swords are in their lips, For, they say,“ Who hears?”

Indeed, they belch with their mouth; Swords are in their lips; For they say,“ Who hears?”

Behold, they belch out with their mouth; Swords are in their lips: For who, say they, doth hear?

Look, they spew from their mouths— sharp words from their lips.“ For who,” they say,“ will hear?”

Behold, they belch out with their mouth: swords[ are] in their lips: for who,[ say they], doth hear?

Behold, they spew with their mouth. Swords are in their lips,“ For”, they say,“ who hears us?”

I am surrounded by lions; I lie down among those who want to devour me; men whose teeth are spears and arrows, whose tongues are a sharp sword.

The tongue of the wise treats knowledge correctly, but the mouth of the fool spouts out folly.

He says to himself,“ God overlooks it; he does not pay attention; he never notices.”

They say,“ How does God know what we do? Is the sovereign one aware of what goes on?”

Speaking recklessly is like the thrusts of a sword, but the words of the wise bring healing.

They spew out threats and speak defiantly; all the evildoers boast.

“ You have surely noticed what these people are saying, haven’t you? They are saying,‘ The LORD has rejected the two families of Israel and Judah that he chose.’ So they have little regard that my people will ever again be a nation.

Offspring of vipers! How are you able to say anything good, since you are evil? For the mouth speaks from what fills the heart.

For they say cruel and deceptive things to me; they lie to me.They surround me and say hateful things; they attack me for no reason.

His words are as smooth as butter, but he harbors animosity in his heart. His words seem softer than oil, but they are really like sharp swords.

Why does the wicked man reject God? He says to himself,“ You will not hold me accountable.”

The heart of the righteous considers how to answer, but the mouth of the wicked pours out evil things.

Then they say,“ The LORD does not see this; the God of Jacob does not take notice of it.”Take notice of this, you ignorant people! You fools, when will you ever understand?Does the one who makes the human ear not hear? Does the one who forms the human eye not see?

“ Is not God on high in heaven? And see the lofty stars, how high they are!But you have said,‘ What does God know? Does he judge through such deep darkness?

They sharpen their tongues like a sword; they aim their arrow, a slanderous charge,in order to shoot down the innocent in secluded places. They shoot at him suddenly and are unafraid of retaliation.They encourage one another to carry out their evil deed. They plan how to hide snares, and boast,“ Who will see them?”
