他们若不悔改，祂必磨刀霍霍，弯弓搭箭，诛灭他们。祂准备好了夺命的兵器，火箭已在弦上。

倘若恶人离恶行义，他必救回自己的性命。因为他醒悟过来，痛改前非，必能活着，不致死亡。

你们这些“所多玛”的首领啊，要聆听耶和华的话！你们这些“蛾摩拉”的百姓啊，要侧耳听我们上帝的训诲！

耶和华说：“以色列人啊，在我眼中，你们不是和古实人一样吗？我不是领你们出埃及，也领非利士人出迦斐托，领亚兰人出吉珥吗？

因为不怜悯人的会受到无情的审判，但怜悯胜过审判。

当然，这并不表示上帝的话落了空，因为从以色列生的，不一定都是以色列人，

雅各在那里筑了一座坛，称之为伊利·伊罗伊·以色列。

因为徒具外表的犹太人不是真正的犹太人，身体上的割礼也不是真正的割礼。唯有从心里做犹太人的才是真犹太人，真割礼是借着圣灵在心里受的割礼，不在于律法条文。这样的人得到的称赞不是从人来的，而是从上帝来的。

列邦挖了陷阱却自陷其中，设下网罗却缠住自己的脚。

树枝枯干断落，妇女拿去作柴烧。因为以色列人愚昧无知，所以他们的创造主不怜悯他们，也不向他们施恩。

愿死亡突然抓住我的仇敌，愿他们活活地下阴间，因为他们的内心和家中罪恶充斥。

耶和华啊，你知道他们害我的各种诡计，求你不要赦免他们的罪过，不要饶恕他们的恶行。求你使他们倒在你面前，求你在烈怒中惩罚他们。

万军之上帝耶和华啊，求你听我的祷告；雅各的上帝啊，求你垂听。（细拉）

不可跪拜它们，也不可供奉它们，因为我——你的上帝耶和华痛恨不贞，我必追讨背弃我之人的罪，从父到子直到三四代。

万军之上帝耶和华啊，你因你子民的祷告而发怒，要到何时呢？

因为傲慢的人起来攻击我，目无上帝的暴徒正寻索我的性命。（细拉）

上帝又对摩西说：“你要告诉以色列人是我派遣你到他们那里，我是他们祖先的上帝耶和华，是亚伯拉罕的上帝，以撒的上帝，雅各的上帝。耶和华是我的名字，直到永远，世世代代的人都要这样称呼我。
