See how they hide and wait for me! Lord, angry people plan to harm me, even though I haven’t hurt them in any way or sinned against them.

因为，他们埋伏要害我的命；有能力的人聚集来攻击我。耶和华啊，这不是为我的过犯，也不是为我的罪愆。

看哪，他们埋伏要害我的性命，凶猛的人聚集来攻击我！耶和华啊，这不是因我的过犯，也不是因我的罪！

因為他們埋伏要害我的性命；有勢力的人結夥來攻擊我，並不是為了我的過犯，也不是為了我的罪。

看哪，他們埋伏要害我的性命，凶猛的人聚集來攻擊我！耶和華啊，這不是因我的過犯，也不是因我的罪！

彼眾潛伏、欲害我命、強者集而敵我、耶和華歟、非因我過、非因我罪兮、

耶和華兮、我未嘗獲罪於彼、強者咸集、設伏以害予兮。

彼眾窺伺欲害我命、主歟、我無罪無辜、強橫人聚集來攻我、

救我於作惡之徒兮。全我於暴虐之流。

See how they lie in wait for me! Fierce men conspire against me for no offense or sin of mine, Lord.

For behold, they lie in wait for my life; fierce men stir up strife against me. For no transgression or sin of mine, O Lord,

They have set an ambush for me. Fierce enemies are out there waiting, Lord, though I have not sinned or offended them.

Because look, LORD, they set an ambush for me. Powerful men attack me, but not because of any sin or rebellion of mine.

For behold, they have set an ambush for my life; Fierce men attack me, Not for my wrongdoing nor for my sin, Lord,

For look, they lie in wait for my life; The mighty gather against me, Not for my transgression nor for my sin, O Lord.

For, lo, they lie in wait for my soul; The mighty gather themselves together against me: Not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O Jehovah.

Lord, look! They set an ambush for me. Powerful men attack me, but not because of any sin or rebellion of mine.

For, lo, they lie in wait for my soul: the mighty are gathered against me; not[ for] my transgression, nor[ for] my sin, O LORD.

For look, they wait to ambush me; powerful men stalk me, but not because I have rebelled or sinned, O LORD.

For, behold, they lie in wait for my soul. The mighty gather themselves together against me, not for my disobedience, nor for my sin, Yahweh.

They get together and hide. They watch my steps. They hope to kill me.

Those who hate me without any reason are more than the hairs on my head. Many people who don’t have any reason to be my enemies are trying to destroy me. They force me to give back what I didn’t steal.

Look, my father! Look at this piece of your robe in my hand! I cut off the corner of your robe. But I didn’t kill you. See, there is nothing in my hand that shows I am guilty of doing anything wrong. I haven’t turned against you. I haven’t done anything to harm you. But you are hunting me down. You want to kill me.

Faithful people have disappeared from the land. Those who are honest are gone. Everyone hides and waits to spill the blood of others. They use nets to try and trap one another.

“ You are a better person than I am,” he said.“ You have treated me well. But I’ve treated you badly.

Don’t give in to them. More than 40 of them are waiting in hiding to attack him. They have promised that they will not eat or drink anything until they have killed him. They are ready now. All they need is for you to bring Paul to the Sanhedrin.”

He continued,“ Why are you chasing me? What evil thing have I done? What am I guilty of?

The kings of the earth rise up against the Lord. The rulers of the earth join together against his anointed king.

Those who are trying to kill me set their traps. Those who want to harm me talk about destroying me. All day long they make their plans and tell their lies.

Those who are evil hide and wait for godly people. They want to kill them.But the Lord will not leave the godly in their power. He will not let them be found guilty when they are brought into court.

They hide and wait like a lion in the bushes. From their hiding places they wait to catch those who are helpless. They catch them and drag them off in their nets.Those they have attacked are beaten up. They fall to the ground. They fall because their attackers are too strong for them.

The kings of the earth rise up. The rulers of the earth gather together against the Lord and against his anointed king.’( Psalm 2:1, 2)In fact, Herod and Pontius Pilate met with the Gentiles in this city. They also met with the people of Israel. All of them made plans against your holy servant Jesus. He is the one you anointed.

Saul told his son Jonathan and all the attendants to kill David. But Jonathan liked David very much.

Lord my God, suppose I have done something wrong. Suppose I am guilty.Or I have done evil to my friend. Or I have robbed my enemy without any reason.Then let my enemy chase me and catch me. Let him stomp me into the ground. Let him bury me in the dust.Lord, rise up in your anger. Rise up against the great anger of my enemies. My God, wake up. Command that the right thing be done.

This has happened so that what is written in their Law would come true. It says,‘ They hated me without any reason.’( Psalms 35:19; 69:4)

The words of those who are evil hide and wait to spill people’s blood. But the speech of those who are honest saves them from traps like that.
