For I know that Jehovah is great, And that our Lord is above all gods.Whatsoever Jehovah pleased, that hath he done, In heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deeps;

And my holy name will I make known in the midst of my people Israel; neither will I suffer my holy name to be profaned any more: and the nations shall know that I am Jehovah, the Holy One in Israel.

Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.Jehovah of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge.[ Selah

And Jehovah’s anger was kindled against Israel, and he made them wander to and fro in the wilderness forty years, until all the generation, that had done evil in the sight of Jehovah, was consumed.

And I will magnify myself, and sanctify myself, and I will make myself known in the eyes of many nations; and they shall know that I am Jehovah.

Now therefore, O Jehovah our God, save thou us, I beseech thee, out of his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou Jehovah art God alone.

And the days in which we came from Kadesh- barnea, until we were come over the brook Zered, were thirty and eight years; until all the generation of the men of war were consumed from the midst of the camp, as Jehovah sware unto them.Moreover the hand of Jehovah was against them, to destroy them from the midst of the camp, until they were consumed.So it came to pass, when all the men of war were consumed and dead from among the people,

After the number of the days in which ye spied out the land, even forty days, for every day a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my alienation.I, Jehovah, have spoken, surely this will I do unto all this evil congregation, that are gathered together against me: in this wilderness they shall be consumed, and there they shall die.

And Jehovah thy God will cast out those nations before thee by little and little: thou mayest not consume them at once, lest the beasts of the field increase upon thee.But Jehovah thy God will deliver them up before thee, and will discomfit them with a great discomfiture, until they be destroyed.
