[ For] the sin of their mouth[ and] the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying[ which] they speak.

惟毋遽加剪滅兮。恐吾民因無敵而荒怠。願鼎力以驅逐之兮。使其不復為吾族之害。

For the sins of their mouths, for the words of their lips, let them be caught in their pride. For the curses and lies they utter,

They have sinned with their mouths. Their lips have spoken evil words. They have cursed me and lied. Let them be caught in their pride.

As he loved cursing, so let it come unto him: as he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him.As he clothed himself with cursing like as with his garment, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones.

[ As for] the head of those that compass me about, let the mischief of their own lips cover them.Let burning coals fall upon them: let them be cast into the fire; into deep pits, that they rise not up again.

Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.

Then answered all the people, and said, His blood[ be] on us, and on our children.

But God shall shoot at them[ with] an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away.

Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again.
