因其口之罪、脣之辭、及其呪詛誑誕、任其為驕慢所縛兮、

彼驕泰詭譎、厥口詛咒、求主降罰、適當其罪兮。

其唇邊之言語、即其口中之罪孽、因驕傲、因出詈言誑語、必被拘困、

惟毋遽加剪滅兮。恐吾民因無敵而荒怠。願鼎力以驅逐之兮。使其不復為吾族之害。

For the sins of their mouths, for the words of their lips, let them be caught in their pride. For the curses and lies they utter,

They have sinned with their mouths. Their lips have spoken evil words. They have cursed me and lied. Let them be caught in their pride.

For the sin of their mouths, the words of their lips, let them be trapped in their pride. For the cursing and lies that they utter,

Because of the sinful things they say, because of the evil that is on their lips, let them be captured by their pride, their curses, and their lies.

For the sin of their mouths and the words of their lips, let them be caught in their pride. They utter curses and lies.

On account of the sin of their mouths and the words of their lips, May they even be caught in their pride, And on account of curses and lies which they tell.

嘴唇的過犯是惡人的陷阱，而義人必脫離患難。

愚昧人的口導致自己的敗亡，他的嘴成為自己靈魂的陷阱。

他滿口都在詛咒、欺詐、欺壓，舌頭底下滿是禍患和壞事。

惡人因著自高追逼困苦人，願他們被自己謀劃的詭計抓住！

我告訴你們：人所說的每一句無益的話，在那審判的日子，句句都要做出交代，因為憑你的話，你將被稱為義；也憑你的話，你將被定有罪。」

詭詐的舌頭啊，耶和華會給你什麼呢？他會加給你什麼呢？會加給你勇士的利箭，連同羅騰木的火炭。

正直人的公義必解救自己；背信者必被自己的欲求纏住。

他們卻更加堅持說：「他在猶太全地教導、煽動民眾，從加利利開始，一直到這裡。」

主啊，求你把我們鄰國所加給你的羞辱，七倍歸回到他們身上！

他喜愛詛咒人，詛咒就臨到他；他不喜歡祝福人，祝福就遠離他。他把詛咒當作衣袍穿上，所以詛咒像水那樣進到他裡面，像油那樣進到他的骨頭裡。

至於那些圍困我的人，願他們嘴唇的禍患遮蓋自己的頭；願火炭落在他們身上，願他們被扔進烈火中、被拋進深坑裡，不能起來！

因你口中的言語陷入圈套，因你口中的言語被捉住了——

全體民眾都回答說：「他的血歸在我們和我們兒女的身上！」

但是神會用箭射他們，他們必突然被擊傷。他們將使自己絆倒，他們的舌頭與自己作對；所有看見他們的人都必搖頭。

說：「大人，我們想起當那個迷惑人的還活著時曾經說過：『在第三天我要復活。』
