莫殺戮之、恐我民遂忘、惟求護衛我之主、以大能使之流離失所、使之降為卑微、

主必迎予以仁慈兮。群兇其如予何。

Lord, you are like a shield that keeps us safe. Don’t kill my enemies all at once. If you do, my people will forget about it. Use your power to pull my enemies up by the roots like weeds. Destroy them.

Then you will be comforted concerning the evil that I have brought on Jerusalem, even concerning all that I have brought on it.They will comfort you, when you see their way and their doings; then you will know that I have not done all that I have done in it without cause,” says the Lord Yahweh.

For the living know that they will die, but the dead don’t know anything, neither do they have any more a reward; for their memory is forgotten.

In those days people will seek death, and will in no way find it. They will desire to die, and death will flee from them.

From now on, when you till the ground, it won’t yield its strength to you. You will be a fugitive and a wanderer in the earth.”Cain said to Yahweh,“ My punishment is greater than I can bear.Behold, you have driven me out today from the surface of the ground. Whoever finds me will kill me.”Yahweh said to him,“ Therefore whoever slays Cain, vengeance will be taken on him sevenfold.” Yahweh appointed a sign for Cain, so that anyone finding him would not strike him.

Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let those who are in the middle of her depart. Let those who are in the country not enter therein.

But Adoni- Bezek fled. They pursued him, caught him, and cut off his thumbs and his big toes.Adoni- Bezek said,“ Seventy kings, having their thumbs and their big toes cut off, scavenged under my table. As I have done, so God has done to me.” They brought him to Jerusalem, and he died there.

that then Yahweh your God will release you from captivity, have compassion on you, and will return and gather you from all the peoples where Yahweh your God has scattered you.If your outcasts are in the uttermost parts of the heavens, from there Yahweh your God will gather you, and from there he will bring you back.

Look at everyone who is proud, and humble him. Crush the wicked in their place.

Only be careful, and keep your soul diligently, lest you forget the things which your eyes saw, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life; but make them known to your children and your children’s children—

For Yahweh God is a sun and a shield. Yahweh will give grace and glory. He withholds no good thing from those who walk blamelessly.
