Mankind will say,“ Surely there is a reward for the righteous; surely there is a God who judges on earth.”

因此，人必說：「義人誠然有善報，在地上果然有施行審判的神！」

這樣，人們必說：「義人終有善報，確實有一位審判天下的上帝。」

這樣，人們就會說：「義人確實有善報！確實有一位在地上施行審判的神！」

人則曰、義人果得賞賚、誠有上帝行鞫於世兮、

人曰為善者降之祥、上帝帝天下兮。

彼時人必云、善人果有善報、在世間真有判斷之天主、

使善人覩之而欣欣兮。濯其足於群姦之血。

Then people will say,“ Surely the righteous still are rewarded; surely there is a God who judges the earth.”

Then people will say,“ The godly will get their reward. There really is a God who judges the earth.”

Then at last everyone will say,“ There truly is a reward for those who live for God; surely there is a God who judges justly here on earth.”

Then people will say,“ Yes, there is a reward for the righteous! There is a God who judges on earth!”

And people will say,“ There certainly is a reward for the righteous; There certainly is a God who judges on the earth!”

So that men will say,“ Surely there is a reward for the righteous; Surely He is God who judges in the earth.”

So that men shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: Verily there is a God that judgeth in the earth.

Then people will say,“ Yes, there is a reward for the righteous! There is a God who judges on earth!”

So that a man shall say, Verily[ there is] a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth.

Then observers will say,“ Yes indeed, the godly are rewarded! Yes indeed, there is a God who judges in the earth!”

so that men shall say,“ Most certainly there is a reward for the righteous. Most certainly there is a God who judges the earth.”

Let the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you judge the peoples with equity and guide the nations upon earth. Selah

Tell the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their deeds.

Then all mankind fears; they tell what God has brought about and ponder what he has done.

But what fruit were you getting at that time from the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life.

But because of your hard and impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed.

Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his steadfast love,

All in vain have I kept my heart clean and washed my hands in innocence.For all the day long I have been stricken and rebuked every morning.If I had said,“ I will speak thus,” I would have betrayed the generation of your children.

Rise up, O judge of the earth; repay to the proud what they deserve!

The Lord dealt with me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands he rewarded me.

before the Lord, for he comes, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness, and the peoples in his faithfulness.

and he judges the world with righteousness; he judges the peoples with uprightness.

You have said,‘ It is vain to serve God. What is the profit of our keeping his charge or of walking as in mourning before the Lord of hosts?

before the Lord, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with equity.

You have wearied the Lord with your words. But you say,“ How have we wearied him?” By saying,“ Everyone who does evil is good in the sight of the Lord, and he delights in them.” Or by asking,“ Where is the God of justice?”

The Lord has made himself known; he has executed judgment; the wicked are snared in the work of their own hands. Higgaion. Selah

to declare that the Lord is upright; he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

They will say,“ Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things are continuing as they were from the beginning of creation.”For they deliberately overlook this fact, that the heavens existed long ago, and the earth was formed out of water and through water by the word of God,and that by means of these the world that then existed was deluged with water and perished.But by the same word the heavens and earth that now exist are stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed.
