I am under vows to you, my God; I will present my thank offerings to you.

神啊，我向你所许的愿在我身上；我要将感谢祭献给你。

上帝啊，我要向你还所许的愿，我要以感谢祭回报你；

上帝啊，我要恪守向你发的誓言，献上感恩祭。

神啊！我要偿还我向你所许的愿，我要把感谢祭献给你。

神哪，我向你所许的愿在我身上，我要用感谢祭向你偿还！

神啊，我向你所許的願在我身上；我要將感謝祭獻給你。

上帝歟、我負所許之願、必獻酬恩之祭於爾兮、

上帝兮、昔我許願、後必償之、祝謝靡已兮、

我於天主前許願、我必將感謝祭、奉獻主前、

血氣之倫。其如予何。

God, I have made promises to you. I will bring my thank offerings to you.

I must perform my vows to you, O God; I will render thank offerings to you.

I will fulfill my vows to you, O God, and will offer a sacrifice of thanks for your help.

I am obligated by vows to you, God; I will make my thanksgiving sacrifices to you.

Your vows are binding upon me, God; I will render thanksgiving offerings to You.

Vows made to You are binding upon me, O God; I will render praises to You,

Thy vows are upon me, O God: I will render thank- offerings unto thee.

I am obligated by vows to You, God; I will make my thank offerings to You.

Thy vows[ are] upon me, O God: I will render praises unto thee.

I am obligated to fulfill the vows I made to you, O God; I will give you the thank-offerings you deserve,

Your vows are on me, God. I will give thank offerings to you.

I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High.My enemies turn back; they stumble and perish before you.

“ Sacrifice thank offerings to God, fulfill your vows to the Most High,

Then God said to Jacob,“ Go up to Bethel and settle there, and build an altar there to God, who appeared to you when you were fleeing from your brother Esau.”So Jacob said to his household and to all who were with him,“ Get rid of the foreign gods you have with you, and purify yourselves and change your clothes.Then come, let us go up to Bethel, where I will build an altar to God, who answered me in the day of my distress and who has been with me wherever I have gone.”

Make vows to the Lord your God and fulfill them; let all the neighboring lands bring gifts to the One to be feared.

I will fulfill my vows to the Lord in the presence of all his people.Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful servants.Truly I am your servant, Lord; I serve you just as my mother did; you have freed me from my chains.I will sacrifice a thank offering to you and call on the name of the Lord.I will fulfill my vows to the Lord in the presence of all his people,in the courts of the house of the Lord— in your midst, Jerusalem. Praise the Lord.

Then Jacob made a vow, saying,“ If God will be with me and will watch over me on this journey I am taking and will give me food to eat and clothes to wearso that I return safely to my father’s household, then the Lord will be my Godand this stone that I have set up as a pillar will be God’s house, and of all that you give me I will give you a tenth.”

After he was weaned, she took the boy with her, young as he was, along with a three-year-old bull, an ephah of flour and a skin of wine, and brought him to the house of the Lord at Shiloh.When the bull had been sacrificed, they brought the boy to Eli,and she said to him,“ Pardon me, my lord. As surely as you live, I am the woman who stood here beside you praying to the Lord.I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him.So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord.” And he worshiped the Lord there.

When you make a vow to God, do not delay to fulfill it. He has no pleasure in fools; fulfill your vow.It is better not to make a vow than to make one and not fulfill it.Do not let your mouth lead you into sin. And do not protest to the temple messenger,“ My vow was a mistake.” Why should God be angry at what you say and destroy the work of your hands?

I have taken an oath and confirmed it, that I will follow your righteous laws.

But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble.You are my strength, I sing praise to you; you, God, are my fortress, my God on whom I can rely.

And she made a vow, saying,“ Lord Almighty, if you will only look on your servant’s misery and remember me, and not forget your servant but give her a son, then I will give him to the Lord for all the days of his life, and no razor will ever be used on his head.”

I will come to your temple with burnt offerings and fulfill my vows to you—vows my lips promised and my mouth spoke when I was in trouble.

When a man makes a vow to the Lord or takes an oath to obligate himself by a pledge, he must not break his word but must do everything he said.“ When a young woman still living in her father’s household makes a vow to the Lord or obligates herself by a pledgeand her father hears about her vow or pledge but says nothing to her, then all her vows and every pledge by which she obligated herself will stand.But if her father forbids her when he hears about it, none of her vows or the pledges by which she obligated herself will stand; the Lord will release her because her father has forbidden her.“ If she marries after she makes a vow or after her lips utter a rash promise by which she obligates herselfand her husband hears about it but says nothing to her, then her vows or the pledges by which she obligated herself will stand.But if her husband forbids her when he hears about it, he nullifies the vow that obligates her or the rash promise by which she obligates herself, and the Lord will release her.“ Any vow or obligation taken by a widow or divorced woman will be binding on her.“ If a woman living with her husband makes a vow or obligates herself by a pledge under oathand her husband hears about it but says nothing to her and does not forbid her, then all her vows or the pledges by which she obligated herself will stand.But if her husband nullifies them when he hears about them, then none of the vows or pledges that came from her lips will stand. Her husband has nullified them, and the Lord will release her.Her husband may confirm or nullify any vow she makes or any sworn pledge to deny herself.But if her husband says nothing to her about it from day to day, then he confirms all her vows or the pledges binding on her. He confirms them by saying nothing to her when he hears about them.If, however, he nullifies them some time after he hears about them, then he must bear the consequences of her wrongdoing.”These are the regulations the Lord gave Moses concerning relationships between a man and his wife, and between a father and his young daughter still living at home.

Be exalted in your strength, Lord; we will sing and praise your might.

In that day you will say:“ I will praise you, Lord. Although you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and you have comforted me.
