I am obligated to fulfill the vows I made to you, O God; I will give you the thank-offerings you deserve,

上帝啊，我要恪守向你发的誓言，献上感恩祭。

神啊！我要偿还我向你所许的愿，我要把感谢祭献给你。

神哪，我向你所许的愿在我身上，我要用感谢祭向你偿还！

神啊，我向你所許的願在我身上；我要將感謝祭獻給你。

上帝啊，我要向你還所許的願，我要以感謝祭回報你；

神啊，我要向你還所許的願，我要以感謝祭回報你；

上帝啊，我要恪守向你發的誓言，獻上感恩祭。

神啊！我要償還我向你所許的願，我要把感謝祭獻給你。

上帝啊，我向你許的願老在我身上；我要將感謝祭還給你。

神哪，我向你所許的願在我身上，我要用感謝祭向你償還！

上帝歟、我負所許之願、必獻酬恩之祭於爾兮、

上帝兮、昔我許願、後必償之、祝謝靡已兮、

我於天主前許願、我必將感謝祭、奉獻主前、

血氣之倫。其如予何。

I am under vows to you, my God; I will present my thank offerings to you.

God, I have made promises to you. I will bring my thank offerings to you.

I must perform my vows to you, O God; I will render thank offerings to you.

I will fulfill my vows to you, O God, and will offer a sacrifice of thanks for your help.

I am obligated by vows to you, God; I will make my thanksgiving sacrifices to you.

Your vows are binding upon me, God; I will render thanksgiving offerings to You.

Vows made to You are binding upon me, O God; I will render praises to You,

Thy vows are upon me, O God: I will render thank- offerings unto thee.

I am obligated by vows to You, God; I will make my thank offerings to You.

Thy vows[ are] upon me, O God: I will render praises unto thee.

Your vows are on me, God. I will give thank offerings to you.

I will thank the LORD with all my heart! I will tell about all your amazing deeds!I will be happy and rejoice in you! I will sing praises to you, O sovereign One!When my enemies turn back, they trip and are defeated before you.

Present to God a thank-offering! Repay your vows to the sovereign One!

Then God said to Jacob,“ Go up at once to Bethel and live there. Make an altar there to God, who appeared to you when you fled from your brother Esau.”So Jacob told his household and all who were with him,“ Get rid of the foreign gods you have among you. Purify yourselves and change your clothes.Let us go up at once to Bethel. Then I will make an altar there to God, who responded to me in my time of distress and has been with me wherever I went.”

Make vows to the LORD your God and repay them! Let all those who surround him bring tribute to the awesome one!

I will fulfill my vows to the LORD before all his people.The LORD values the lives of his faithful followers.Yes, LORD! I am indeed your servant; I am your lowest slave. You saved me from death.I will present a thank offering to you, and call on the name of the LORD.I will fulfill my vows to the LORD before all his people,in the courts of the LORD’s temple, in your midst, O Jerusalem. Praise the LORD!

Then Jacob made a vow, saying,“ If God is with me and protects me on this journey I am taking and gives me food to eat and clothing to wear,and I return safely to my father’s home, then the LORD will become my God.Then this stone that I have set up as a sacred stone will be the house of God, and I will surely give you back a tenth of everything you give me.”

Once she had weaned him, she took him up with her, along with three bulls, an ephah of flour, and a container of wine. She brought him to the LORD’s house at Shiloh, even though he was young.Once the bull had been slaughtered, they brought the boy to Eli.She said,“ Just as surely as you are alive, my lord, I am the woman who previously stood here with you in order to pray to the LORD.I prayed for this boy, and the LORD has given me the request that I asked of him.Now I dedicate him to the LORD. From this time on he is dedicated to the LORD.” Then they worshiped the LORD there.

When you make a vow to God, do not delay in paying it. For God takes no pleasure in fools: Pay what you vow!It is better for you not to vow than to vow and not pay it.Do not let your mouth cause you to sin, and do not tell the priest,“ It was a mistake!” Why make God angry at you so that he would destroy the work of your hands?”

I have vowed and solemnly sworn to keep your just regulations.

As for me, I will sing about your strength; I will praise your loyal love in the morning. For you are my refuge and my place of shelter when I face trouble.You are my source of strength! I will sing praises to you! For God is my refuge, the God who loves me.

She made a vow saying,“ O LORD of hosts, if you will look with compassion on the suffering of your female servant, remembering me and not forgetting your servant, and give a male child to your servant, then I will dedicate him to the LORD all the days of his life. His hair will never be cut.”

I will enter your temple with burnt sacrifices; I will fulfill the vows I made to you,which my lips uttered and my mouth spoke when I was in trouble.

If a man makes a vow to the LORD or takes an oath of binding obligation on himself, he must not break his word, but must do whatever he has promised.“ If a young woman who is still living in her father’s house makes a vow to the LORD or places herself under an obligation,and her father hears of her vow or the obligation to which she has pledged herself, and her father remains silent about her, then all her vows will stand, and every obligation to which she has pledged herself will stand.But if her father overrules her when he hears about it, then none of her vows or her obligations which she has pledged for herself will stand. And the LORD will release her from it, because her father overruled her.“ And if she marries a husband while under a vow, or she uttered anything impulsively by which she has pledged herself,and her husband hears about it, but remains silent about her when he hears about it, then her vows will stand and her obligations which she has pledged for herself will stand.But if when her husband hears it he overrules her, then he will nullify the vow she has taken, and whatever she uttered impulsively which she has pledged for herself. And the LORD will release her from it.“ But every vow of a widow or of a divorced woman which she has pledged for herself will remain intact.If she made the vow in her husband’s house or put herself under obligation with an oath,and her husband heard about it, but remained silent about her, and did not overrule her, then all her vows will stand, and every obligation which she pledged for herself will stand.But if her husband clearly nullifies them when he hears them, then whatever she says by way of vows or obligations will not stand. Her husband has made them void, and the LORD will release her from them.“ Any vow or sworn obligation that would bring affliction to her, her husband can confirm or nullify.But if her husband remains completely silent about her from day to day, he thus confirms all her vows or all her obligations which she is under; he confirms them because he remained silent about when he heard them.But if he should nullify them after he has heard them, then he will bear her iniquity.”These are the statutes that the LORD commanded Moses, relating to a man and his wife, and a father and his young daughter who is still living in her father’s house.

Rise up, O LORD, in strength! We will sing and praise your power!

At that time you will say:“ I praise you, O LORD, for even though you were angry with me, your anger subsided, and you consoled me.
