祂存在於萬物之前，萬物都靠祂而維繫。

求你剷除我的仇敵，因為你愛我。求你消滅一切迫害我的人，因為我是你的僕人。

拯救我們的上帝啊，你憑公義、行可畏之事來應允我們的祈求。你是普天下的盼望。

這些猶太人殺死了主耶穌和眾先知，又迫害我們。他們不但冒犯上帝，還與所有的人為敵，阻止我們傳福音給外族人，唯恐他們得救。這些人惡貫滿盈，上帝的烈怒終於臨到了他們頭上。

對犯罪者的刑罰不迅速執行，世人便盡情作惡。

他們不像別人受苦，不像世人遭難。他們把驕傲作項鏈戴在頸上，把暴力作外袍裹在身上。

主啊，你是我們世世代代的居所。群山尚未誕生，大地和世界還未形成，從亙古到永遠，你是上帝。

這些國家的神明中有哪個曾從我手中救自己的國家呢？難道耶和華能從我手中救耶路撒冷嗎？』」

「摩押自幼常享安逸，從未被擄到別處，好像沉澱的酒沒有被從這缸倒到那缸，味道依舊，香氣未變。

那時，我必提著燈巡查耶路撒冷，懲罰那些安於罪中的人。他們心想，『耶和華不賜福也不降禍。』

上帝知道了他們的惡行，怒不可遏，徹底棄絕了以色列人。

愚昧人背離正道，自招滅亡；愚頑人逍遙自在，毀掉自己。
