惟願以色列之拯救從郇而來、天主救回被擄之子民、天主救回被擄之子民或作天主使己之民復興雅各必歡欣、以色列必喜樂、

惡人中心餒。無事亦惴慄。彼與爾為敵。主已碎其骨。眾逆悉蒙羞。實憑主之德。

Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion! When God restores his people, let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad!

At that time you will say:“ I praise you, O LORD, for even though you were angry with me, your anger subsided, and you consoled me.Look, God is my deliverer! I will trust in him and not fear. For the LORD gives me strength and protects me; he has become my deliverer.”Joyfully you will draw water from the springs of deliverance.

The LORD God of Israel who rules over all says,“ I will restore the people of Judah to their land and to their towns. When I do, they will again say of Jerusalem,‘ May the LORD bless you, you holy mountain, the place where righteousness dwells.’

O LORD, you showed favor to your land; you restored the well-being of Jacob.

When the LORD restored the well-being of Zion, we thought we were dreaming.At that time we laughed loudly and shouted for joy. At that time the nations said,“ The LORD has accomplished great things for these people.”The LORD did indeed accomplish great things for us. We were happy.O LORD, restore our well-being, just as the streams in the arid south are replenished.

The LORD says,“ I will restore the ruined houses of the descendants of Jacob. I will show compassion on their ruined homes. Every city will be rebuilt on its former ruins. Every fortified dwelling will occupy its traditional site.

I will bring back my people, Israel; they will rebuild the cities lying in rubble and settle down. They will plant vineyards and drink the wine they produce; they will grow orchards and eat the fruit they produce.

And on that day they offered great sacrifices and rejoiced, for God had given them great joy. The women and children also rejoiced. The rejoicing in Jerusalem could be heard from far away.

So the LORD restored what Job had lost after he prayed for his friends, and the LORD doubled all that had belonged to Job.

( 4: 1) For look! In those days and at that time I will return the exiles to Judah and Jerusalem.

He caused all their conquerors to have pity on them.Deliver us, O LORD, our God! Gather us from among the nations! Then we will give thanks to your holy name, and boast about your praiseworthy deeds.The LORD God of Israel deserves praise, in the future and forevermore. Let all the people say,“ We agree! Praise the LORD!”

How will they respond to the messengers of this nation? Indeed, the LORD has made Zion secure; the oppressed among his people will find safety in her.

From Zion, the most beautiful of all places, God comes in splendor.

Cry out and shout for joy, O citizens of Zion, for the Holy One of Israel acts mightily among you!”

With antiphonal response they sang, praising and glorifying the LORD:“ For he is good; his loyal love toward Israel is forever.” All the people gave a loud shout as they praised the LORD when the temple of the LORD was established.
