惟彼惡人、懵然無知、橫噬我民、無異食餅、不向上帝呼籲兮、

惟彼作惡者、果無知乎、其吞噬我民、猶如食物、並不禱告天主、

Do all these evildoers know nothing? They devour my people as though eating bread; they never call on God.

Don’t these people who do evil know anything? They eat up my people as if they were eating bread. They never call out to God for help.

Have those who work evil no knowledge, who eat up my people as they eat bread, and do not call upon God?

Will those who do evil never learn? They eat up my people like bread and wouldn’t think of praying to God.

Will evildoers never understand? They consume my people as they consume bread; they do not call on God.

Have the workers of injustice no knowledge, Who eat up My people like they ate bread, And have not called upon God?

Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge, Who eat up my people as they eat bread, And do not call upon God?

Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge, Who eat up my people as they eat bread, And call not upon God?

Will evildoers never understand? They consume My people as they consume bread; they do not call on God.

Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people[ as] they eat bread: they have not called upon God.

All those who behave wickedly do not understand– those who devour my people as if they were eating bread, and do not call out to God.

麻木焉得仁。冥頑何時靈。

惡逆徒洶洶。但見其傾蹶。

爾所見之十角及獸、終必痛恨大娼、褫其衣而裸之、且吞食其肉、而付諸一焚。

何爾狂妄昏昧、一至於此！夫二者孰大、金乎？抑聖金之殿乎？爾又謂指壇而誓、猶同無誓、若指壇上儀物而誓、乃受拘束。昏昧之人乎！二者孰大：儀物乎？抑聖儀物之殿乎？夫指壇而誓、即指其壇及壇上諸物而誓也。指殿而誓者、即指其殿及寓於殿中者而誓也。指天而誓者、即指天主寶座、及居於寶座者而誓也。哀哉爾經生與法利塞人、虛偽之徒也！蓋爾斤斤於薄荷、蘹香、蒔蘿、什一之輸、而於律中綱要、如正義、仁慈、信德、則漠然置之。彼固當行、此亦焉可廢哉？爾瞽而作導者！蚋則濾之、駝則吞焉。哀哉爾經生與法利塞人、虛偽之徒也！蓋爾第潔杯盤之表、而內充貪污邪欲。矇哉法利塞人！爾其先潔杯盤之內、則其外自潔矣。哀哉爾經生與法利塞人、虛偽之徒也！蓋爾猶粉堊之塋、外形雖美、內充屍骸諸穢。爾曹飾義以欺人、而內則虛偽邪惡、無所不有也。哀哉爾經生與法利塞人、虛偽之徒也！蓋爾葺先知之塋、飾義士之塚、自謂若生先祖之世、必不與之共流先知之血。實則爾已自證為殺先知者之後矣。乃祖惡貫、爾其盈之！嗟爾虺蝮之種將何以逃於地獄之刑乎？是故吾遣先知哲人經師於爾、爾或刃之釘之、或鞭之於會堂、逐之於諸邑、庶幾凡世上所流義血、自義者亞伯之血、以至殿臺間被殺者巴辣基子襍加理之血、皆歸於爾。吾誠告爾、凡此諸端、咸將歸責於斯代矣。耶路撒冷乎、嗟爾殘殺先知、石擊天主星使之耶路撒冷乎！吾之欲集爾子女、如牝雞之覆翼其雛者、不已頻乎？而爾終莫之許也。今者爾室其墟矣！蓋吾語爾、自今而後、以至爾歡呼「奉主名而來者、洵堪頌揚」之日、爾將不得睹予矣。』
