The fool has said in his heart,“ There is no God.” They are corrupt, and have done abominable iniquity. There is no one who does good.

愚人心中謂無上帝、彼皆敗壞、行可憎之邪惡、無一行善兮、

氓之蚩蚩、謂上帝為無有、惟惡是作兮、喪其本心、無復孳孳而行仁兮、

愚者心中以為無天主、為人敗壞、凡其所行邪惡可憎、無有一人行善、

The fool says in his heart,“ There is no God.” They are corrupt, and their ways are vile; there is no one who does good.

Foolish people say in their hearts,“ There is no God.” They do all kinds of horrible and evil things. No one does anything good.

The Fool says in his heart,“ There is no God.” They are corrupt, doing abominable iniquity; there is none who does good.

Only fools say in their hearts,“ There is no God.” They are corrupt, and their actions are evil; not one of them does good!

They have together become corrupt. There is no one who does good, no, not one.Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge, who eat up my people as they eat bread, and don’t call on Yahweh?There they were in great fear, for God is in the generation of the righteous.You frustrate the plan of the poor, because Yahweh is his refuge.Oh that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When Yahweh restores the fortunes of his people, then Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

The wicked, in the pride of his face, has no room in his thoughts for God.

As it is written,“ There is no one righteous; no, not one.There is no one who understands. There is no one who seeks after God.They have all turned away. They have together become unprofitable. There is no one who does good, no, not so much as one.”“ Their throat is an open tomb. With their tongues they have used deceit.”“ The poison of vipers is under their lips.”“ Their mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.”“ Their feet are swift to shed blood.Destruction and misery are in their ways.The way of peace, they haven’t known.”“ There is no fear of God before their eyes.”Now we know that whatever things the law says, it speaks to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be closed, and all the world may be brought under the judgment of God.Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight; for through the law comes the knowledge of sin.But now apart from the law, a righteousness of God has been revealed, being testified by the law and the prophets;even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ to all and on all those who believe. For there is no distinction,for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus;whom God sent to be an atoning sacrifice, through faith in his blood, for a demonstration of his righteousness through the passing over of prior sins, in God’s forbearance;to demonstrate his righteousness at this present time; that he might himself be just, and the justifier of him who has faith in Jesus.Where then is the boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? Of works? No, but by a law of faith.We maintain therefore that a man is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.Or is God the God of Jews only? Isn’t he the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also,since indeed there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith, and the uncircumcised through faith.Do we then nullify the law through faith? May it never be! No, we establish the law.

Even as they refused to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting;

“‘ Don’t defile yourselves in any of these things; for in all these the nations which I am casting out before you were defiled.The land was defiled. Therefore I punished its iniquity, and the land vomited out her inhabitants.You therefore shall keep my statutes and my ordinances, and shall not do any of these abominations; neither the native- born, nor the stranger who lives as a foreigner among you( for the men of the land that were before you had done all these abominations, and the land became defiled),that the land not vomit you out also, when you defile it, as it vomited out the nation that was before you.“‘ For whoever shall do any of these abominations, even the souls that do them shall be cut off from among their people.Therefore you shall keep my requirements, that you do not practice any of these abominable customs which were practiced before you, and that you do not defile yourselves with them. I am Yahweh your God.’”

There were also sodomites in the land. They did according to all the abominations of the nations which Yahweh drove out before the children of Israel.

But I tell you that everyone who is angry with his brother without a cause will be in danger of the judgment. Whoever says to his brother,‘ Raca!’ will be in danger of the council. Whoever says,‘ You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of Gehenna.

Jeroboam said in his heart,“ Now the kingdom will return to David’s house.

Yahweh saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of man’s heart was continually only evil.Yahweh was sorry that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him in his heart.

For we have spent enough of our past time doing the desire of the Gentiles, and having walked in lewdness, lusts, drunken binges, orgies, carousings, and abominable idolatries.

Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? Not one.

how much less one who is abominable and corrupt, a man who drinks iniquity like water!

For it is a shame even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret.

Yahweh, the God of my salvation, I have cried day and night before you.

Samaria hasn’t committed half of your sins; but you have multiplied your abominations more than they, and have justified your sisters by all your abominations which you have done.

Yet you have not walked in their ways, nor done their abominations; but soon you were more corrupt than they in all your ways.

You shall not do so to Yahweh your God; for every abomination to Yahweh, which he hates, they have done to their gods; for they even burn their sons and their daughters in the fire to their gods.

He says in his heart,“ God has forgotten. He hides his face. He will never see it.”

“ But God said to him,‘ You foolish one, tonight your soul is required of you. The things which you have prepared— whose will they be?’

A senseless man doesn’t know, neither does a fool understand this:

Why does the wicked person condemn God, and say in his heart,“ God won’t call me into account?”

Because knowing God, they didn’t glorify him as God, and didn’t give thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened.

He says in his heart,“ I shall not be shaken. For generations I shall have no trouble.”

The earth was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.God saw the earth, and saw that it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth.God said to Noah,“ I will bring an end to all flesh, for the earth is filled with violence through them. Behold, I will destroy them and the earth.
