Foolish people say in their hearts,“ There is no God.” They do all kinds of horrible and evil things. No one does anything good.

Only fools say in their hearts,“ There is no God.” They are corrupt, and their actions are evil; not one of them does good!

In the pride of his face the wicked does not seek him; all his thoughts are,“ There is no God.”

as it is written:“ None is righteous, no, not one;no one understands; no one seeks for God.All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one.”“ Their throat is an open grave; they use their tongues to deceive.”“ The venom of asps is under their lips.”“ Their mouth is full of curses and bitterness.”“ Their feet are swift to shed blood;in their paths are ruin and misery,and the way of peace they have not known.”“ There is no fear of God before their eyes.”Now we know that whatever the law says it speaks to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be stopped, and the whole world may be held accountable to God.For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin.But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it—the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction:for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins.It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.Then what becomes of our boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? By a law of works? No, but by the law of faith.For we hold that one is justified by faith apart from works of the law.Or is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also,since God is one— who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith.Do we then overthrow the law by this faith? By no means! On the contrary, we uphold the law.

And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done.

“ Do not make yourselves unclean by any of these things, for by all these the nations I am driving out before you have become unclean,and the land became unclean, so that I punished its iniquity, and the land vomited out its inhabitants.But you shall keep my statutes and my rules and do none of these abominations, either the native or the stranger who sojourns among you( for the people of the land, who were before you, did all of these abominations, so that the land became unclean),lest the land vomit you out when you make it unclean, as it vomited out the nation that was before you.For everyone who does any of these abominations, the persons who do them shall be cut off from among their people.So keep my charge never to practice any of these abominable customs that were practiced before you, and never to make yourselves unclean by them: I am the Lord your God.”

and there were also male cult prostitutes in the land. They did according to all the abominations of the nations that the Lord drove out before the people of Israel.

But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says,‘ You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire.

And Jeroboam said in his heart,“ Now the kingdom will turn back to the house of David.

The Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.And the Lord regretted that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him to his heart.

For the time that is past suffices for doing what the Gentiles want to do, living in sensuality, passions, drunkenness, orgies, drinking parties, and lawless idolatry.

Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? There is not one.

how much less one who is abominable and corrupt, a man who drinks injustice like water!

For it is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret.

O Lord, God of my salvation, I cry out day and night before you.

Samaria has not committed half your sins. You have committed more abominations than they, and have made your sisters appear righteous by all the abominations that you have committed.

Not only did you walk in their ways and do according to their abominations; within a very little time you were more corrupt than they in all your ways.

You shall not worship the Lord your God in that way, for every abominable thing that the Lord hates they have done for their gods, for they even burn their sons and their daughters in the fire to their gods.

He says in his heart,“ God has forgotten, he has hidden his face, he will never see it.”

But God said to him,‘ Fool! This night your soul is required of you, and the things you have prepared, whose will they be?’

The stupid man cannot know; the fool cannot understand this:

Why does the wicked renounce God and say in his heart,“ You will not call to account”?

For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

He says in his heart,“ I shall not be moved; throughout all generations I shall not meet adversity.”

Now the earth was corrupt in God’s sight, and the earth was filled with violence.And God saw the earth, and behold, it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth.And God said to Noah,“ I have determined to make an end of all flesh, for the earth is filled with violence through them. Behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
