Surely God will bring you down to everlasting ruin: He will snatch you up and pluck you from your tent; he will uproot you from the land of the living.

我確實相信我還要在活人之地得見永恆主所賜的美物。

惟獨惡人總會從應許之地被剪除；背信的必從其上被扯走。

圍困我的人昂首自高；願他們嘴脣下的毒害淹沒了他們。願上帝下炭火雨在他們身上；將他們丟落水坑，使他們不能再起。願鼓舌傷人的人不能立定於地上；強暴的人、願禍患獵取他，將他打倒。

看哪，惡人產痛地生了奸惡：他所懷孕的是毒害，所生的是虛假。他掘了陷阱，給挖深了，竟掉在自己所造的坑裏。他的毒害必回到他自己頭上；他的強暴必落到他自己頭頂。

假見證必難免於受罰；噴吐謊言的必不能逃脫。

我見過惡人強橫可怖，挺然高聳、像茂盛的香柏樹。我從那裏經過，啊，已經沒有了；我尋找他，卻找不着。

但上帝拿箭射他們，他們就突然受傷。人們向他們咋舌；凡看見他們的都搖頭。眾人都起了敬畏的心，宣說上帝的作為，沉思上帝所作的事。願義人因永恆主而歡喜，並避難於他裏面；願心裏正直的人都以他為誇耀。

惟獨那些膽怯的、沒有信心的、可憎的、殺人的、做男倡或嫖妓的、行邪術的、拜偶像的、和一切說假話的人，他們的分兒是在那有火跟硫磺燒着的湖裏：就是第二次的死。』

但你呢、上帝啊，使惡人下陰冥之坑哦！使流人血行詭詐的人活不到其半世哦！至於我呢、我是要倚靠你的。

他被拖出、離開他倚靠的帳棚，他受迫行進、到令人恐怖的王那裏。

我必革你的官職，撤你的職位。

『永恆主啊，援救我脫離虛假之嘴脣，詭詐之舌頭！』詭詐之舌頭啊，要用甚麼去給你呢？要拿甚麼來加給你呢？就是勇士的利箭、同羅騰木的炭火！

我在永恆主面前出入往來於活人之地。

說實話的嘴脣永遠立定；虛假的舌頭、不過眨眼間。

我心裏說：在活人之地我必不得以見永恆主了；在人間世的居民中我必不再見到人類了。

假見證必難免於受罰；噴吐謊言的必滅亡。

財主說：「我祖啊，既然如此，就求你打發拉撒路到我父家去；因為我有五個弟兄；他可以鄭重警告他們，免得他們也來到這苦痛的地方啊。」

他的高貴雖上達於天，他的頭雖頂到雲霄，他總必永遠滅亡，像自己的糞一樣；素來見過他的都說：「他在哪裏呢？」
