Against you, and you only, I have sinned, and done that which is evil in your sight, so you may be proved right when you speak, and justified when you judge.

我惟得罪於主、在主之前行惡、主譴責我乃合理、審鞫我乃公義、

抹拭我過。昭爾大仁。

Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight; so you are right in your verdict and justified when you judge.

You are the one I’ve really sinned against. I’ve done what is evil in your sight. So you are right when you sentence me. You are fair when you judge me.

David said to Nathan,“ I have sinned against Yahweh.” Nathan said to David,“ Yahweh also has put away your sin. You will not die.However, because by this deed you have given great occasion to Yahweh’s enemies to blaspheme, the child also who is born to you will surely die.”

God said to him in the dream,“ Yes, I know that in the integrity of your heart you have done this, and I also withheld you from sinning against me. Therefore I didn’t allow you to touch her.

No one is greater in this house than I am, and he has not kept back anything from me but you, because you are his wife. How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?”

The son said to him,‘ Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’

May it never be! Yes, let God be found true, but every man a liar. As it is written,“ that you might be justified in your words, and might prevail when you come into judgment.”

“ If anyone sins, and commits a trespass against Yahweh, and deals falsely with his neighbor in a matter of deposit, or of bargain, or of robbery, or has oppressed his neighbor,or has found that which was lost, and lied about it, and swearing to a lie— in any of these things that a man sins in his actions—then it shall be, if he has sinned, and is guilty, he shall restore that which he took by robbery, or the thing which he has gotten by oppression, or the deposit which was committed to him, or the lost thing which he found,or any thing about which he has sworn falsely: he shall restore it in full, and shall add a fifth part more to it. He shall return it to him to whom it belongs in the day of his being found guilty.He shall bring his trespass offering to Yahweh: a ram without defect from the flock, according to your estimation, for a trespass offering, to the priest.The priest shall make atonement for him before Yahweh, and he will be forgiven concerning whatever he does to become guilty.”

They caused their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire, used divination and enchantments, and sold themselves to do that which was evil in Yahweh’s sight, to provoke him to anger.

He made his son to pass through the fire, practiced sorcery, used enchantments, and dealt with those who had familiar spirits, and with wizards. He did much evil in Yahweh’s sight, to provoke him to anger.

For he who said,“ Do not commit adultery,” also said,“ Do not commit murder.” Now if you do not commit adultery, but murder, you have become a transgressor of the law.

I heard the angel of the waters saying,“ You are righteous, who are and who were, O Holy One, because you have judged these things.

Why have you despised Yahweh’s word, to do that which is evil in his sight? You have struck Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and have taken his wife to be your wife, and have slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon.Now therefore the sword will never depart from your house, because you have despised me, and have taken Uriah the Hittite’s wife to be your wife.’

Whoever sheds man’s blood, his blood will be shed by man, for God made man in his own image.

But if you show partiality, you commit sin, being convicted by the law as transgressors.

Er, Judah’s firstborn, was wicked in Yahweh’s sight. So Yahweh killed him.

But according to your hardness and unrepentant heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath, revelation, and of the righteous judgment of God;

It is a trespass offering. He is certainly guilty before Yahweh.”

They sang the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying,“ Great and marvelous are your works, Lord God, the Almighty! Righteous and true are your ways, you King of the nations.Who wouldn’t fear you, Lord, and glorify your name? For you only are holy. For all the nations will come and worship before you. For your righteous acts have been revealed.”

The heavens shall declare his righteousness, for God himself is judge. Selah.

because he has appointed a day in which he will judge the world in righteousness by the man whom he has ordained; of which he has given assurance to all men, in that he has raised him from the dead.”

He calls to the heavens above, to the earth, that he may judge his people:

When all the people and the tax collectors heard this, they declared God to be just, having been baptized with John’s baptism.

I saw the heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and he who sat on it is called Faithful and True. In righteousness he judges and makes war.
