大闢曰、我犯罪於耶和華。拿單曰、耶和華已宥爾罪、不至死亡。爾之作為若此、使逆耶和華之人愈生厭惡、故爾所得之子必死。

上帝曰、我知爾為此、心本純良、故我阻爾、使爾不玷婦身、以干罪戾。

家之中我為督、我有作為、主不禁禦、但汝乃其妻、我不可犯。安可自干元惡、獲罪於上帝。

其子曰、我獲罪於天、及父於前、今而後、不堪稱為爾子、

曰、非也、上帝真、億兆偽、如經云、主言時稱義、鞫時獲勝、

如人有差失、違逆於我、受人付托、尚存其手、而誑言不存、或據人物、虐取人財、拾人所遺、詭云未得、不論所為、誑言發誓、於是陷罪、既獲愆尤、必以所受托、所強據、所虐取、所拾遺、悉反諸人、所誑言發誓、必於補過之日、以舊物加五分之一、歸於其主、攜牡綿羊、維潔是務、依祭司所估之價、獻之於我、為補過之祭。祭司於我前、代為贖罪、而人所犯者、得蒙赦宥。○

焚獻子女、專用卜筮、維惡是務、干耶和華震怒。

誡曰、勿淫、又曰、勿殺、爾雖無淫行而殺人、又為罹法、

我聞掌水天使云、自昔及今之聖主、鞫人如是、無非大公、

何藐視我命、行惡於我前、藉亞捫族之刃、殺赫人烏利亞、而取其妻為妻。爾既藐視我、以赫人烏利亞之妻為妻、人必以刃擊爾家、歷久不已。

余造世人、與我維肖、故流人血者、人必流其血。

爾如何貌取人、是蹈於惡、為法所譴、不免罪戾、

咡作惡於耶和華前、而耶和華殺之。

乃爾剛愎、罔有悛心、積愆干怒、待上帝震怒、義鞫顯日、

人違我法、欲補其過、所當獻之祭、即此。
