Then I will teach your ways to those who commit lawless acts. And sinners will turn back to you.

Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer.Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.

Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,

Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths.

and after taking some food, he regained his strength. Saul spent several days with the disciples in Damascus.At once he began to preach in the synagogues that Jesus is the Son of God.All those who heard him were astonished and asked,“ Isn’t he the man who raised havoc in Jerusalem among those who call on this name? And hasn’t he come here to take them as prisoners to the chief priests?”Yet Saul grew more and more powerful and baffled the Jews living in Damascus by proving that Jesus is the Messiah.

Good and upright is the Lord; therefore he instructs sinners in his ways.

“ I have surely heard Ephraim’s moaning:‘ You disciplined me like an unruly calf, and I have been disciplined. Restore me, and I will return, because you are the Lord my God.

Peter replied,“ Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Make the heart of this people calloused; make their ears dull and close their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed.”

Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right side to accuse him.The Lord said to Satan,“ The Lord rebuke you, Satan! Is not this man a burning stick snatched from the fire?”Now Joshua was dressed in filthy clothes as he stood before the angel.The angel said to those who were standing before him,“ Take off his filthy clothes.” Then he said to Joshua,“ See, I have taken away your sin, and I will put fine garments on you.”Then I said,“ Put a clean turban on his head.” So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him, while the angel of the Lord stood by.The angel of the Lord gave this charge to Joshua:“ This is what the Lord Almighty says:‘ If you will walk in obedience to me and keep my requirements, then you will govern my house and have charge of my courts, and I will give you a place among these standing here.“‘ Listen, High Priest Joshua, you and your associates seated before you, who are men symbolic of things to come: I am going to bring my servant, the Branch.

All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations will bow down before him,

Many peoples will come and say,“ Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.” The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

The church sent them on their way, and as they traveled through Phoenicia and Samaria, they told how the Gentiles had been converted. This news made all the believers very glad.

The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple.

When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter,“ Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?”“ Yes, Lord,” he said,“ you know that I love you.” Jesus said,“ Feed my lambs.”Again Jesus said,“ Simon son of John, do you love me?” He answered,“ Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” Jesus said,“ Take care of my sheep.”The third time he said to him,“ Simon son of John, do you love me?” Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time,“ Do you love me?” He said,“ Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.” Jesus said,“ Feed my sheep.

Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said,“ I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.” And you forgave the guilt of my sin.

“ You are a child of the devil and an enemy of everything that is right! You are full of all kinds of deceit and trickery. Will you never stop perverting the right ways of the Lord?

And he said:“ Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.Do not be like the horse or the mule, which have no understanding but must be controlled by bit and bridle or they will not come to you.Many are the woes of the wicked, but the Lord’s unfailing love surrounds the one who trusts in him.

My brothers and sisters, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring that person back,remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of their way will save them from death and cover over a multitude of sins.
