Then I will teach transgressors your ways, so that sinners will turn back to you.

Then I will teach your ways to those who commit lawless acts. And sinners will turn back to you.

Then I will teach transgressors your ways, and sinners will return to you.

Then I will teach your ways to rebels, and they will return to you.

Then I will teach the rebellious your ways, and sinners will return to you.

Then I will teach wrongdoers Your ways, And sinners will be converted to You.

Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, And sinners shall be converted to You.

Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; And sinners shall be converted unto thee.

Then I will teach the rebellious Your ways, and sinners will return to You.

but I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. When you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”

to open their eyes so that they turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a share among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’“ Therefore, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision,but I declared to those in Damascus first, and then to those in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, performing deeds consistent with repentance.

Thus we are full of courage and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.So then whether we are alive or away, we make it our ambition to please him.For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be paid back according to what he has done while in the body, whether good or evil.Therefore, because we know the fear of the Lord, we try to persuade people, but we are well known to God, and I hope we are well known to your consciences too.We are not trying to commend ourselves to you again, but are giving you an opportunity to be proud of us, so that you may be able to answer those who take pride in outward appearance and not in what is in the heart.For if we are out of our minds, it is for God; if we are of sound mind, it is for you.For the love of Christ controls us, since we have concluded this, that Christ died for all; therefore all have died.And he died for all so that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised.So then from now on we acknowledge no one from an outward human point of view. Even though we have known Christ from such a human point of view, now we do not know him in that way any longer.So then, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; what is old has passed away– look, what is new has come!And all these things are from God who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and who has given us the ministry of reconciliation.In other words, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting people’s trespasses against them, and he has given us the message of reconciliation.Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making his plea through us. We plead with you on Christ’s behalf,“ Be reconciled to God!”

Therefore repent and turn back so that your sins may be wiped out,

Make me understand your ways, O LORD! Teach me your paths!

and after taking some food, his strength returned. For several days he was with the disciples in Damascus,and immediately he began to proclaim Jesus in the synagogues, saying,“ This man is the Son of God.”All who heard him were amazed and were saying,“ Is this not the man who in Jerusalem was ravaging those who call on this name, and who had come here to bring them as prisoners to the chief priests?”But Saul became more and more capable, and was causing consternation among the Jews who lived in Damascus by proving that Jesus is the Christ.

The LORD is both kind and fair; that is why he teaches sinners the right way to live.

I have indeed heard the people of Israel say mournfully,‘ We were like a calf untrained to the yoke. You disciplined us and we learned from it. Let us come back to you and we will do so, for you are the LORD our God.

Peter said to them,“ Repent, and each one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.For the promise is for you and your children, and for all who are far away, as many as the Lord our God will call to himself.”With many other words he testified and exhorted them saying,“ Save yourselves from this perverse generation!”So those who accepted his message were baptized, and that day about three thousand people were added.

Make the hearts of these people calloused; make their ears deaf and their eyes blind! Otherwise they might see with their eyes and hear with their ears, their hearts might understand and they might repent and be healed.”

Next I saw Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, with Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him.The LORD said to Satan,“ May the LORD rebuke you, Satan! May the LORD, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebuke you! Isn’t this man like a burning stick snatched from the fire?”Now Joshua was dressed in filthy clothes as he stood there before the angel.The angel spoke up to those standing all around,“ Remove his filthy clothes.” Then he said to Joshua,“ I have freely forgiven your iniquity and will dress you in fine clothing.”Then I spoke up,“ Let a clean turban be put on his head.” So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him, while the angel of the LORD stood nearby.Then the angel of the LORD exhorted Joshua solemnly:“ The LORD who rules over all says,‘ If you live and work according to my requirements, you will be able to preside over my temple and attend to my courtyards, and I will allow you to come and go among these others who are standing by you.Listen now, Joshua the high priest, both you and your colleagues who are sitting before you, all of you are a symbol that I am about to introduce my servant, the Branch.

Let all the people of the earth acknowledge the LORD and turn to him! Let all the nations worship you!

many peoples will come and say,“ Come, let us go up to the LORD’s mountain, to the temple of the God of Jacob, so he can teach us his requirements, and we can follow his standards.” For Zion will be the center for moral instruction; the LORD will issue edicts from Jerusalem.

So they were sent on their way by the church, and as they passed through both Phoenicia and Samaria, they were relating at length the conversion of the Gentiles and bringing great joy to all the brothers.

The law of the LORD is perfect and preserves one’s life. The rules set down by the LORD are reliable and impart wisdom to the inexperienced.

Then when they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter,“ Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these do?” He replied,“ Yes, Lord, you know I love you.” Jesus told him,“ Feed my lambs.”Jesus said a second time,“ Simon, son of John, do you love me?” He replied,“ Yes, Lord, you know I love you.” Jesus told him,“ Shepherd my sheep.”Jesus said a third time,“ Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter was distressed that Jesus asked him a third time,“ Do you love me?” and said,“ Lord, you know everything. You know that I love you.” Jesus replied,“ Feed my sheep.

Then I confessed my sin; I no longer covered up my wrongdoing. I said,“ I will confess my rebellious acts to the LORD.” And then you forgave my sins.( Selah)

and said,“ You who are full of all deceit and all wrongdoing, you son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness– will you not stop making crooked the straight paths of the Lord?

and said,“ I tell you the truth, unless you turn around and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven!

I will instruct and teach you about how you should live. I will advise you as I look you in the eye.Do not be like an unintelligent horse or mule, which will not obey you unless they are controlled by a bridle and bit.An evil person suffers much pain, but the LORD’s faithfulness overwhelms the one who trusts in him.

My brothers and sisters, if anyone among you wanders from the truth and someone turns him back,he should know that the one who turns a sinner back from his wandering path will save that person’s soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.
