集聖民於我前、即以獻祭、與我立約之人兮、

曰、維彼選民、獻祭於我、與我立約、使之和會兮、

曰、當為我招集敬我之虔誠人、即獻祭與我立約之人、

傳語獻祭者。與我有成約。

“ Gather to me this consecrated people, who made a covenant with me by sacrifice.”

“ Gather My saints together to Me, Those who have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice.”

He says:“ Assemble my covenant people before me, those who ratified a covenant with me by sacrifice!”

“ Gather my saints together to me, those who have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.”

Moses came and told the people all the commands of the LORD and all the ordinances. Then all the people responded with a single voice,“ We will do everything that the LORD has commanded.”And Moses wrote down all the words of the LORD. He rose early the next morning and set up an altar and twelve pillars for the twelve tribes of Israel at the base of the mountain.Then he sent out young Israelite men, and they offered burnt offerings and sacrificed bulls as fellowship offerings to the LORD.Moses took half the blood and set it in basins; the other half of the blood he splattered on the altar.He then took the covenant scroll and read it aloud to the people. They responded,“ We will do and obey all that the LORD has commanded.”Moses took the blood, splattered it on the people, and said,“ This is the blood of the covenant that the LORD has made with you concerning all these words.”

For this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

Now may the God of peace, who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus— the great Shepherd of the sheep— through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

They are physical regulations and only deal with food, drink, and various washings imposed until the time of the new order.But Christ has appeared as a high priest of the good things that have come. In the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands( that is, not of this creation),he entered the most holy place once for all time, not by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood, having obtained eternal redemption.For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a young cow, sprinkling those who are defiled, sanctify for the purification of the flesh,how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, cleanse our consciences from dead works so that we can serve the living God?Therefore, he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called might receive the promise of the eternal inheritance, because a death has taken place for redemption from the transgressions committed under the first covenant.Where a will exists, the death of the one who made it must be established.For a will is valid only when people die, since it is never in effect while the one who made it is living.That is why even the first covenant was inaugurated with blood.For when every command had been proclaimed by Moses to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and goats, along with water, scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled the scroll itself and all the people,saying, This is the blood of the covenant that God has ordained for you.In the same way, he sprinkled the tabernacle and all the articles of worship with blood.According to the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.Therefore, it was necessary for the copies of the things in the heavens to be purified with these sacrifices, but the heavenly things themselves to be purified with better sacrifices than these.

You who love the LORD, hate evil! He protects the lives of his faithful ones; he rescues them from the power of the wicked.

and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood, which says better things than the blood of Abel.

He said: The LORD came from Sinai and appeared to them from Seir; he shone on them from Mount Paran and came with ten thousand holy ones, with lightning from his right hand for them.Indeed he loves the people. All your holy ones are in your hand, and they assemble at your feet. Each receives your words.

Sing to the LORD, you his faithful ones, and praise his holy name.

For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the archangel’s voice, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.Then we who are still alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.

Or don’t you know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the trivial cases?Don’t you know that we will judge angels— how much more matters of this life?
