山嶽之禽、皆我所知、原野之獸、為我所有兮、

山上之飛禽、皆我所知、曠野之走獸、亦皆屬我、

山上之飛翮。野中之毛族。宇宙與萬物。何者非吾屬。

I know every bird in the mountains, and the insects in the fields are mine.

I own every bird in the mountains. The insects in the fields belong to me.

I know all the birds of the hills, and all that moves in the field is mine.

I know every bird on the mountains, and all the animals of the field are mine.

Then God said,“ Let the waters teem with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth in the open expanse of the heavens.”And God created the great sea creatures and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarmed, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind; and God saw that it was good.God blessed them, saying,“ Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.”

Look at the birds of the sky, that they do not sow, nor reap, nor gather crops into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more important than they?

Consider the ravens, that they neither sow nor reap; they have no storeroom nor barn, and yet God feeds them; how much more valuable you are than the birds!

“ If I were to cause vicious animals to pass through the land and they depopulated it, and it became desolate so that no one would pass through it because of the animals,though these three men were in its midst, as I live,” declares the Lord God,“ they could not save either their sons or their daughters. They alone would be saved, but the country would be desolate.

Are two sparrows not sold for an assarion? And yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father.But even the hairs of your head are all counted.So do not fear; you are more valuable than a great number of sparrows.

“ Is it by your understanding that the hawk soars, Stretching his wings toward the south?Is it at your command that the eagle flies high, And makes his nest on high?He dwells and spends his nights on the cliff, On the rocky cliff, an inaccessible place.From there he tracks food; His eyes look at it from afar.His young ones also lick up blood greedily; And where the slain are, there he is.”

“ The wings of the ostrich flap joyously, With the pinion and feathers of love,For she abandons her eggs to the earth And warms them in the dust,And she forgets that a foot may crush them, Or that a wild animal may trample them.She treats her young cruelly, as if they were not hers; Though her labor is for nothing, she is unconcerned,Because God has made her forget wisdom, And has not given her a share of understanding.When she rushes away on high, She laughs at the horse and his rider.

The birds of the sky dwell beside them; They lift up their voices from among the branches.

All you wild animals, All you animals in the forest, Come to eat.

It is He who gives an animal its food, And feeds young ravens that cry.

Who prepares feed for the raven When its young cry to God, And wander about without food?
