“ By my great strength and outstretched arm, I made the earth, and the people, and animals on the face of the earth. Look at Behemoth, which I made along with you. He eats grass like cattle.Look at the strength of his back and the power in the muscles of his belly.He stiffens his tail like a cedar tree; the tendons of his thighs are woven firmly together.His bones are bronze tubes; his limbs are like iron rods.He is the foremost of God’s works; only his Maker can draw the sword against him.The hills yield food for him, while all sorts of wild animals play there.He lies under the lotus plants, hiding in the protection of marshy reeds.Lotus plants cover him with their shade; the willows by the brook surround him.Though the river rages, Behemoth is unafraid; he remains confident, even if the Jordan surges up to his mouth.Can anyone capture him while he looks on, or pierce his nose with snares?

The LORD God formed out of the ground every wild animal and every bird of the sky, and brought each to the man to see what he would call it. And whatever the man called a living creature, that was its name.

But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? For everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your own hand.For we are aliens and temporary residents in your presence as were all our ancestors. Our days on earth are like a shadow, without hope.LORD our God, all this wealth that we’ve provided for building you a house for your holy name comes from your hand; everything belongs to you.

God has taken away your father’s herds and given them to me.

He causes grass to grow for the livestock and provides crops for man to cultivate, producing food from the earth,
