求主保我身。莫為敵所得。平易爾道路。扶我庶無蹶。

啊，你所喜愛的是內裏真實；求你使我在心底緊密處得以明白智慧。

行詭詐的人哪，你終日圖謀着毁滅；你的舌頭就像磨快的剃刀。

人以諂媚引誘鄰舍，是設羅網去絆他的腳步。

你們有禍啊！因為你們如同不顯露的墳墓，走在上面的人並不知道。』

罪過向惡人心中深處發言；在他眼前沒有上帝可懼怕。因為罪過老是諂媚着他，故此在他看來他的罪孽總不能被查出、被恨惡。他口中的話是奸惡和詭詐；他跟明智和善行已經斷絕。他在床上圖謀着奸惡，在不善的路上站定了立場，並不棄絕壞事。

充滿着各樣的不義、邪惡、貪婪、惡毒；滿有嫉妒、兇殺、爭競、詭詐、惡意；作打耳喳的、譭謗的、憎惡上帝的、損害人的、狂傲的、矜誇的、揑造惡事的、悖逆父母的；良知蒙昧的、不守約的、無親情的、不憐恤人的。

下流人不過是虛幻，上流人乃是虛假；放在天平裏就浮起；一概是噓氣。

請別讓我徇人情面；我也不將頭銜給人掛上。因為我不曉得給人掛頭銜；若這樣，造我的主就快要除滅我了。

而搜索出我們所作成的奸惡呢？』深思熟慮的設計、人的內裏和心思是深沉的啊。

人人跟鄰舍說虛謊話；他們說話、是嘴脣油滑、存兩樣心的。凡油滑嘴脣和說大話的舌頭願永恆主都割斷。

不，你們是心中行着不義，而在地上以手秤出強暴的。惡人一出母胎、就和上帝生疏；說謊話的一離母腹、便走錯路。

哈利路亞！我要全心全意地稱謝永恆主，在正直人的密契中、在公會中、稱謝他。永恆主的作為至大，給一切喜愛的人研究。他所作的是尊榮和威嚴；他的義氣長久堅立着；

我們從沒用過諂媚的話，你們知道；也沒有用過貪婪的掩飾，上帝可以作證。

主對他說：『杯盤的外面、你們法利賽人固然潔淨了，但你們裏面呢、卻滿了勒索和邪惡！

因為從裏面、從人心裏、發出來的有惡念、淫亂、偷竊、兇殺、姦淫、貪婪、邪惡、詭詐、邪蕩、小心眼兒、毁謗、狂傲、愚妄：

耶路撒冷啊，將你心中的壞處洗淨，使你可以得救哦；你奸惡的意念存於你心裏、要到幾時呢？

人心比甚麼都陰險，病到無法醫治；誰能識透呢？
