Outside the city are the dogs— the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idol worshipers, and all who love to live a lie.

How long will you people ruin my reputation? How long will you make groundless accusations? How long will you continue your lies? Interlude

Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip.

I love your sanctuary, Lord, the place where your glorious presence dwells.Don’t let me suffer the fate of sinners. Don’t condemn me along with murderers.Their hands are dirty with evil schemes, and they constantly take bribes.

Declare me innocent, O God! Defend me against these ungodly people. Rescue me from these unjust liars.

Look! The Lord is coming from heaven to punish the people of the earth for their sins. The earth will no longer hide those who have been killed. They will be brought out for all to see.
