For you are not a God who delights in wickedness; evil cannot dwell with you.

因為你是不喜愛邪惡的神，惡人不能與你同住。

因為你不是喜愛邪惡的上帝；壞人不能寄居在你那裏。

因為你是不喜愛邪惡的神，罪惡不能與你同住。

爾為上帝、不悅罪戾、惡人不得與爾同居兮、

維彼罪人兮、上帝不悅、不許同居、

因主為天主、不喜悅惡事、不容惡人與主同居、

明發即懷主。晨省豈不早。

For you are not a God who is pleased with wickedness; with you, evil people are not welcome.

For you, God, aren’t happy with anything that is evil. Those who do what is wrong can’t live where you are.

For you are not a God who delights in wickedness; evil may not dwell with you.

O God, you take no pleasure in wickedness; you cannot tolerate the sins of the wicked.

For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness; No evil can dwell with You.

For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness, Nor shall evil dwell with You.

For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: Evil shall not sojourn with thee.

For You are not a God who delights in wickedness; evil cannot dwell with You.

For thou[ art] not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.

Certainly you are not a God who approves of evil; evil people cannot dwell with you.

For you are not a God who has pleasure in wickedness. Evil can’t live with you.

Surely the righteous will praise your name; the upright will live in your presence.

Pursue peace with everyone, and holiness— without it no one will see the Lord.

You have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet you ask,“ How have we wearied him?” When you say,“ Everyone who does what is evil is good in the LORD’s sight, and he is delighted with them, or else where is the God of justice?”

Nothing unclean will ever enter it, nor anyone who does what is detestable or false, but only those written in the Lamb’s book of life.

The LORD examines the righteous, but he hates the wicked and those who love violence.

to declare,“ The LORD is just; he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.”

But based on his promise, we wait for new heavens and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.

Can a corrupt throne be your ally, a throne that makes evil laws?

No one who acts deceitfully will live in my palace; the one who tells lies will not be retained here to guide me.

Your eyes are too pure to look on evil, and you cannot tolerate wrongdoing. So why do you tolerate those who are treacherous? Why are you silent while one who is wicked swallows up one who is more righteous than himself?

You have done these things, and I kept silent; you thought I was just like you. But I will rebuke you and lay out the case before you.

I know, my God, that you test the heart and that you are pleased with what is right. I have willingly given all these things with an upright heart, and now I have seen your people who are present here giving joyfully and willingly to you.

The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, because the glory of God illuminates it, and its lamp is the Lamb.

Jesus answered,“ If anyone loves me, he will keep my word. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.
