My mouth will speak words of wisdom; the meditation of my heart will give you understanding.

My mouth will speak wise words. What I think about in my heart will give you understanding.

My heart overflows with a noble theme. I recite my verses for the king. My tongue is like the pen of a skillful writer.

Hear, for I will speak excellent things. The opening of my lips is for right things.For my mouth speaks truth. Wickedness is an abomination to my lips.All the words of my mouth are in righteousness. There is nothing crooked or perverse in them.They are all plain to him who understands, right to those who find knowledge.Receive my instruction rather than silver, knowledge rather than choice gold.For wisdom is better than rubies. All the things that may be desired can’t be compared to it.

My doctrine will drop as the rain. My speech will condense as the dew, as the misty rain on the tender grass, as the showers on the herb.

The entrance of your words gives light. It gives understanding to the simple.

The mouth of the righteous talks of wisdom. His tongue speaks justice.

Listen, sons, to a father’s instruction. Pay attention and know understanding;for I give you sound learning. Don’t forsake my law.

My words will utter the uprightness of my heart. That which my lips know they will speak sincerely.

From infancy, you have known the holy Scriptures which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith, which is in Christ Jesus.Every Scripture is God- breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness,that each person who belongs to God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Let my meditation be sweet to him. I will rejoice in Yahweh.

If not, listen to me. Hold your peace, and I will teach you wisdom.”
