My mouth will speak words of wisdom; the meditation of my heart will give you understanding.

My mouth will speak wise words. What I think about in my heart will give you understanding.

My mouth shall speak wisdom; the meditation of my heart shall be understanding.

For my words are wise, and my thoughts are filled with insight.

Incline your ear and listen to the words of the wise, and apply your heart to my instruction.

May my words and my thoughts be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my sheltering rock and my redeemer.

My heart is stirred by a beautiful song. I say,“ I have composed this special song for the king; my tongue is as skilled as the stylus of an experienced scribe.”

Listen, for I will speak excellent things, and my lips will utter what is right.For my mouth speaks truth, and my lips hate wickedness.All the words of my mouth are righteous; there is nothing in them twisted or crooked.All of them are clear to the discerning and upright to those who find knowledge.Receive my instruction rather than silver, and knowledge rather than choice gold.For wisdom is better than rubies, and desirable things cannot be compared to her.

My teaching will drop like the rain, my sayings will drip like the dew, as rain drops upon the grass, and showers upon new growth.

Your instructions are a doorway through which light shines. They give insight to the untrained.

The godly speak wise words and promote justice.

Listen, children, to a father’s instruction, and pay attention so that you may gain discernment.Because I give you good instruction, do not forsake my teaching.

My words come from the uprightness of my heart, and my lips will utter knowledge sincerely.

and how from infancy you have known the holy writings, which are able to give you wisdom for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.Every scripture is inspired by God and useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,that the person dedicated to God may be capable and equipped for every good work.

May my thoughts be pleasing to him! I will rejoice in the LORD.

If not, you listen to me; be silent, and I will teach you wisdom.”
