Don’t be afraid when a man is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased;

因此，见他人财富增多，日益奢华，不要害怕。

当有人变得富有，他家中的尊荣增多的时候，你不要害怕，

見人發財、家室增榮的時候，你不要懼怕；

見人發財、家室日益顯赫的時候，你不要懼怕；

因此，見他人財富增多，日益奢華，不要害怕。

你見人發財、家增豪富，你可不要懼怕；

人殖貨財、門庭炫赫、爾毋懼兮、

人有貨財、家以顯榮、毋庸畏彼兮、

人縱多財、家貲豐厚、爾莫畏懼、

主必贖吾魂。安然脫冥獄脫獄將何適。納入主靈幄。

Do not be overawed when others grow rich, when the splendor of their houses increases;

Don’t get too upset when other people become rich. Don’t be troubled when they become more and more wealthy.

Be not afraid when a man becomes rich, when the glory of his house increases.

So don’t be dismayed when the wicked grow rich and their homes become ever more splendid.

Do not be afraid when a person gets rich, when the wealth of his house increases.

Do not be afraid when a person becomes rich, When the splendor of his house is increased;

Do not be afraid when one becomes rich, When the glory of his house is increased;

Be not thou afraid when one is made rich, When the glory of his house is increased:

The nations will walk in its light. The kings of the earth bring the glory and honor of the nations into it.

and they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it so that they may enter.

Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him. Don’t fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen.

Why should I fear in the days of evil, when iniquity at my heels surrounds me?

After these things King Ahasuerus promoted Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, and advanced him, and set his seat above all the princes who were with him.All the king’s servants who were in the king’s gate bowed down, and paid homage to Haman; for the king had so commanded concerning him. But Mordecai didn’t bow down or pay him homage.Then the king’s servants, who were in the king’s gate, said to Mordecai,“ Why do you disobey the king’s commandment?”Now it came to pass, when they spoke daily to him, and he didn’t listen to them, that they told Haman, to see whether Mordecai’s reason would stand; for he had told them that he was a Jew.When Haman saw that Mordecai didn’t bow down, nor pay him homage, Haman was full of wrath.But he scorned the thought of laying hands on Mordecai alone, for they had made known to him Mordecai’s people. Therefore Haman sought to destroy all the Jews who were throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus, even Mordecai’s people.

When the righteous triumph, there is great glory; but when the wicked rise, men hide themselves.

Don’t fret because of evildoers, neither be envious against those who work unrighteousness.

Haman recounted to them the glory of his riches, the multitude of his children, all the things in which the king had promoted him, and how he had advanced him above the princes and servants of the king.

Jacob heard Laban’s sons’ words, saying,“ Jacob has taken away all that was our father’s. He has obtained all this wealth from that which was our father’s.”
