因此，見他人財富增多，日益奢華，不要害怕。

人殖貨財、門庭炫赫、爾毋懼兮、

人有貨財、家以顯榮、毋庸畏彼兮、

人縱多財、家貲豐厚、爾莫畏懼、

主必贖吾魂。安然脫冥獄脫獄將何適。納入主靈幄。

Do not be overawed when others grow rich, when the splendor of their houses increases;

Don’t get too upset when other people become rich. Don’t be troubled when they become more and more wealthy.

So don’t be dismayed when the wicked grow rich and their homes become ever more splendid.

Do not be afraid when a person gets rich, when the wealth of his house increases.

Do not be afraid when a person becomes rich, When the splendor of his house is increased;

Do not be afraid when one becomes rich, When the glory of his house is increased;

Be not thou afraid when one is made rich, When the glory of his house is increased:

Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices!

Why should I fear in times of trouble, when the iniquity of those who cheat me surrounds me,

After these things King Ahasuerus promoted Haman the Agagite, the son of Hammedatha, and advanced him and set his throne above all the officials who were with him.And all the king’s servants who were at the king’s gate bowed down and paid homage to Haman, for the king had so commanded concerning him. But Mordecai did not bow down or pay homage.Then the king’s servants who were at the king’s gate said to Mordecai,“ Why do you transgress the king’s command?”And when they spoke to him day after day and he would not listen to them, they told Haman, in order to see whether Mordecai’s words would stand, for he had told them that he was a Jew.And when Haman saw that Mordecai did not bow down or pay homage to him, Haman was filled with fury.But he disdained to lay hands on Mordecai alone. So, as they had made known to him the people of Mordecai, Haman sought to destroy all the Jews, the people of Mordecai, throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus.

When the righteous triumph, there is great glory, but when the wicked rise, people hide themselves.

Fret not yourself because of evildoers; be not envious of wrongdoers!

And Haman recounted to them the splendor of his riches, the number of his sons, all the promotions with which the king had honored him, and how he had advanced him above the officials and the servants of the king.

Now Jacob heard that the sons of Laban were saying,“ Jacob has taken all that was our father’s, and from what was our father’s he has gained all this wealth.”
