They are like sheep and are destined to die; death will be their shepherd( but the upright will prevail over them in the morning). Their forms will decay in the grave, far from their princely mansions.

They are like sheep and will end up in the grave. Death will be their shepherd. But when honest people come to power, a new day will dawn. The bodies of sinners will waste away in the grave. They will end up far away from their princely houses.

萬軍之耶和華說：“你們必踐踏惡人；在我施行作為的日子，他們必在你們腳掌之下成為塵土。

直到萬古常存者來到，為至高者的聖民伸張正義；聖民擁有國度的時候就到了。

你們不知道聖徒要審判世界嗎？既然世界要由你們來審判，難道你們不配審判這些最小的事嗎？

我知道你必使我歸回死地，歸到那為眾生所定的陰宅。

乾旱與炎熱怎樣消除雪水，陰間也這樣除去犯罪的人。懷他的母胎忘記他，蟲子要以他為甘甜，他不再被人記念，不義的人必如樹折斷。

你因人的罪孽，藉著責罰管教他們，叫他們所寶貴的消失，像被蟲蛀蝕；世人都不過是一口氣。（細拉）

叫你們在我的國裡坐在我的席上吃喝，又坐在寶座上審判以色列的十二支派。

正如經上所記：“為你的緣故，我們終日面對死亡，人看我們像待宰的羊。”

惡人都必歸到陰間，忘記神的列國都必滅亡。

因為他的怒氣只是短暫的，他的恩惠卻是一生一世的；夜間雖然不斷有哭泣，早晨卻必歡呼。

你使我們像給人宰吃的羊，把我們分散在列國中。

我又看見一些寶座，有人坐在上面，他們得了審判的權柄。我也看見那些因為替耶穌作見證，並且因為神的道而被斬首的人的靈魂。他們沒有拜過獸或獸像，也沒有在額上或手上受過獸的記號。他們都復活了，與基督一同作王一千年。其餘的死人還沒有復活，等到那一千年完了。這是頭一次的復活。

他們帳棚的繩索不是從他們中間抽出來嗎？他們死去，不是無智慧而死嗎？’”

他們都一起躺在塵土中，蟲子爬滿他們身上。

得勝的，又遵守我的旨意到底的，我必把統治列國的權柄賜給他，他必用鐵杖治理他們，好像打碎陶器一樣粉碎他們，（“我必把……粉碎他們”引自詩2:8~9）好像我從父領受了權柄一樣；

但至高者的聖民必要得國，擁有這國，直到永永遠遠。’

他們幸福度過他們的日子，一剎那間下陰間，毫無病痛。

讓我們認識，竭力追求認識耶和華。他必定出現，像晨光一樣，他必臨到我們，如雨水一般，又像滋潤大地的春雨。

我曾說：在我盛年之際，我竟要進入陰間之門；我餘剩的年日，竟被奪去。我曾說：在活人之地，我必不得見耶和華；在世間的居民中，我必不再見到任何人。

我若等待陰間作我的家，在黑暗中鋪張我的床榻；我若對深坑說：‘你是我的父親’，對蟲說：‘你是我的母親，我的姊妹’，

塵土要歸回原來之地，靈要歸回賜靈的神。

但耶和華啊！你認識我，了解我，你察驗了我對你的心意。求你把他們拉出來，好像將宰的羊一般；求你把他們分別出來，留待宰殺的日子。

他要使萬民臣服在我們之下，使列國臣服在我們的腳下。
