Within your temple, O God, we meditate on your unfailing love.

God, inside your temple we think about your faithful love.

We have thought on your steadfast love, O God, in the midst of your temple.

O God, we meditate on your unfailing love as we worship in your Temple.

We have thought over Your goodness, God, In the midst of Your temple.

We have thought, O God, on Your lovingkindness, In the midst of Your temple.

We have thought on thy lovingkindness, O God, In the midst of thy temple.

God, within Your temple, we contemplate Your faithful love.

We have thought of thy lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple.

We reflect on your loyal love, O God, within your temple.

We have thought about your loving kindness, God, in the middle of your temple.

For your faithful love guides me, and I live by your truth.

I did not hide your righteousness in my heart; I spoke about your faithfulness and salvation; I did not conceal your constant love and truth from the great assembly.

So I gaze on you in the sanctuary to see your strength and your glory.My lips will glorify you because your faithful love is better than life.

Then Jehoshaphat stood in the assembly of Judah and Jerusalem in the LORD’s temple before the new courtyard.He said: LORD, God of our ancestors, are you not the God who is in heaven, and do you not rule over all the kingdoms of the nations? Power and might are in your hand, and no one can stand against you.Are you not our God who drove out the inhabitants of this land before your people Israel and who gave it forever to the descendants of Abraham your friend?They have lived in the land and have built you a sanctuary in it for your name and have said,“ If disaster comes on us— sword or judgment, pestilence or famine— we will stand before this temple and before you, for your name is in this temple. We will cry out to you because of our distress, and you will hear and deliver.”Now here are the Ammonites, Moabites, and the inhabitants of Mount Seir. You did not let Israel invade them when Israel came out of the land of Egypt, but Israel turned away from them and did not destroy them.Look how they repay us by coming to drive us out of your possession that you gave us as an inheritance.Our God, will you not judge them? For we are powerless before this vast number that comes to fight against us. We do not know what to do, but we look to you.All Judah was standing before the LORD with their dependents, their wives, and their children.

So I say,“ I am grieved that the right hand of the Most High has changed.”I will remember the LORD’s works; yes, I will remember your ancient wonders.I will reflect on all you have done and meditate on your actions.God, your way is holy. What god is great like God?You are the God who works wonders; you revealed your strength among the peoples.

And he took bread, gave thanks, broke it, gave it to them, and said,“ This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”In the same way he also took the cup after supper and said,“ This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.

Take me with you— let’s hurry. Oh, that the king would bring me to his chambers. We will rejoice and be glad in you; we will celebrate your caresses more than wine. It is only right that they adore you.

Yes, LORD, we wait for you in the path of your judgments. Our desire is for your name and renown.

May my meditation be pleasing to him; I will rejoice in the LORD.

Remember the wondrous works he has done, his wonders, and the judgments he has pronounced,you offspring of Abraham his servant, Jacob’s descendants— his chosen ones.
