Walk about Zion, go around her, count her towers,

Jesus left the temple area and was going on His way when His disciples came up to point out the temple buildings to Him.But He responded and said to them,“ Do you not see all these things? Truly I say to you, not one stone here will be left upon another, which will not be torn down.”

Then I had the leaders of Judah come up on top of the wall, and I appointed two large choirs, the first proceeding to the right on top of the wall toward the Dung Gate.Hoshaiah and half of the leaders of Judah followed them,with Azariah, Ezra, Meshullam,Judah, Benjamin, Shemaiah, Jeremiah,and some of the sons of the priests with trumpets; and Zechariah the son of Jonathan, the son of Shemaiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Micaiah, the son of Zaccur, the son of Asaph,and his kinsmen, Shemaiah, Azarel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethanel, Judah, and Hanani, with the musical instruments of David the man of God. And Ezra the scribe went before them.At the Fountain Gate they went directly up the steps of the city of David by the stairway of the wall, above the house of David to the Water Gate on the east.The second choir proceeded to the left, while I followed them with half of the people on the wall, above the Tower of Furnaces, to the Broad Wall,and above the Gate of Ephraim, by the Ancient Gate, by the Fish Gate, the Tower of Hananel, and the Tower of the Hundred, as far as the Sheep Gate; and they stopped at the Gate of the Guard.Then the two choirs took their positions in the house of God. So did I and half of the officials with me;

Your heart will meditate on terror:“ Where is one who counts? Where is one who weighs? Where is one who counts the towers?”You will no longer see a fierce people, A people of unintelligible speech which no one comprehends, Of a stammering tongue which no one understands.Look at Zion, the city of our appointed feasts; Your eyes will see Jerusalem, an undisturbed settlement, A tent which will not be folded; Its stakes will never be pulled up, Nor any of its ropes be torn apart.
