Mount Zion rejoices, the villages of Judah are glad because of your judgments.

Mount Zion is filled with joy. The villages of Judah are glad. That’s because you judge fairly.

Let Mount Zion be glad! Let the daughters of Judah rejoice because of your judgments!

Let the people on Mount Zion rejoice. Let all the towns of Judah be glad because of your justice.

this is the word the LORD has spoken against him: Virgin Daughter Zion despises you and scorns you; Daughter Jerusalem shakes her head behind your back.

Daughter Babylon, doomed to destruction, happy is the one who pays you back what you have done to us.Happy is he who takes your little ones and dashes them against the rocks.

I heard the angel of the waters say, You are just, the Holy One, who is and who was, because you have passed judgment on these things.Because they poured out the blood of the saints and the prophets, you have given them blood to drink; they deserve it!I heard the altar say, Yes, Lord God, the Almighty, true and just are your judgments.

Daughters of Jerusalem, I am dark like the tents of Kedar, yet lovely like the curtains of Solomon.

Salvation, glory, and power belong to our God,because his judgments are true and righteous, because he has judged the notorious prostitute who corrupted the earth with her sexual immorality; and he has avenged the blood of his servants that was on her hands.A second time they said, Hallelujah! Her smoke ascends forever and ever!
