萬軍之耶和華說：「從日出之地到日落之處，我的名在列國中必尊為大。在各處，人必奉我的名燒香，獻潔淨的供物，因為我的名在列國中必尊為大。

「這書上所寫律法的一切話，是叫你敬畏耶和華－你上帝尊榮可畏的名，你若不謹守遵行，

迦南人和這地所有的居民聽見了就必圍困我們，把我們的名從地上除去。那時，你為你至大的名要怎樣做呢？」

從日出之地到日落之處，耶和華的名是應當讚美的！

我要向你的聖殿下拜，我要因你的慈愛和信實頌揚你的名；因你使你的名和你的言語顯為大，超乎一切。我呼求的日子，你應允我，使我壯膽，心裏有能力。耶和華啊，地上的君王都要稱謝你，因他們聽見了你口中的言語。

你不要害怕，因為我與你同在；不要驚惶，因為我是你的上帝。我必堅固你，幫助你，用我公義的右手扶持你。

行詭詐的人是可詛咒的！他的羣畜中雖有公羊，他許了願，卻將有殘疾的獻給主。因我是大君王，我的名在列國中是可畏的。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。」

你喜愛公義，恨惡罪惡，所以上帝，就是你的上帝，用喜樂油膏你，勝過膏你的同伴。

喜愛公平、大能的王啊，你堅立公正，在雅各中施行公平和公義。

耶和華一切所行的，無不公義，一切所做的，都有慈愛。

後來我看見天開了。有一匹白馬，騎在馬上的稱為「誠信」、「真實」，他審判和爭戰都憑着公義。

摩西對上帝說：「看哪，我到以色列人那裏，對他們說：『你們祖宗的上帝差派我到你們這裏來。』他們若對我說：『他叫甚麼名字？』我要對他們說甚麼呢？」上帝對摩西說：「我是自有永有的」；又說：「你要對以色列人這樣說：『那自有永有的差派我到你們這裏來。』」上帝又對摩西說：「你要對以色列人這樣說：『耶和華－你們祖宗的上帝，就是亞伯拉罕的上帝，以撒的上帝，雅各的上帝差派我到你們這裏來。』這是我的名，直到永遠；這也是我的稱號，直到萬代。

因為耶和華是公義的，他喜愛義行，正直人必得見他的面。

他的判斷又真實又公義；因他判斷了那大淫婦，她用淫行敗壞了世界。上帝為他的僕人伸冤，向淫婦討流僕人血的罪。」

耶和華在雲中降臨，與摩西一同站在那裏，宣告耶和華的名。耶和華在他面前經過，宣告：「耶和華，耶和華，有憐憫，有恩惠的上帝，不輕易發怒，且有豐盛的慈愛和信實，為千代的人存留慈愛，赦免罪孽、過犯和罪惡，萬不以有罪的為無罪，必懲罰人的罪，自父及子，直到三、四代。」
