萬軍之耶和華說：「從日出之地到日落之處，列國必尊崇我的名。世上每個角落都有人向我焚香，獻上潔淨的供物。因為我的名必受列國尊崇。

「如果你們不謹遵這書上所寫的一切律法，不敬畏你們的上帝耶和華那榮耀、可畏的名，

迦南人和這一帶的人聽到這消息以後，必從四面八方來圍攻我們，將我們從地上斬盡殺絕。那時候，你的威名又何在呢？」

從日出之地到日落之處，普世都應當讚美耶和華。

我要向你的聖殿下拜，稱謝你的名，因為你是慈愛信實的，你顯明自己的尊名和應許偉大無比。我禱告的時候，你就應允我；你使我剛強壯膽。耶和華啊，世上所有的君王聽見你的話都要稱謝你。

我是你的上帝，我必與你同在，你不用驚慌也不用害怕。我必賜你力量，幫助你，用我公義的右手扶持你。』

許願時說要獻上羊群中的公羊，後來卻拿傷殘的來獻給主，這種人該受咒詛！因為我是大君王，就是外族人也敬畏我的名。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。」

你喜愛公義，憎惡邪惡，因此上帝，你的上帝，用喜樂之油膏你，使你超過同伴。

你是大能的君王，喜愛正義，維護公平，在雅各家秉公行義。

耶和華的作為公義，祂所行的充滿慈愛。

我看見天開了，有一匹白馬出來，馬上的騎士名叫「誠信真實」，祂憑公義審判、作戰。

摩西問上帝：「假如我到以色列人那裡，對他們說，『你們祖先的上帝派我來你們這裡。』他們如果問我，『祂叫什麼名字？』我該怎樣回答他們呢？」上帝對摩西說：「我是自有永有者。你要這樣回答以色列人，『那位自有永有者派我到你們這裡。』」上帝又對摩西說：「你要告訴以色列人是我派遣你到他們那裡，我是他們祖先的上帝耶和華，是亞伯拉罕的上帝，以撒的上帝，雅各的上帝。耶和華是我的名字，直到永遠，世世代代的人都要這樣稱呼我。

因為耶和華是公義的，祂喜愛公義。正直的人必見祂的面。

因為祂的審判真實公義，祂懲罰了那用淫亂敗壞世界的大淫婦，為那些被她殺害的奴僕伸冤。」

耶和華在雲中降臨和摩西一同站在那裡，宣告祂的名——耶和華。耶和華在摩西面前經過，並且宣告說：「我是耶和華，我是耶和華，是有憐憫和恩典的上帝，不輕易發怒，充滿慈愛，無比信實，向千萬人彰顯慈愛，赦免罪惡和過犯，但決不免除罪責，必向子孫追討父輩的罪債，直到三四代。」
