He subdued nations under us, peoples under our feet.

He brought nations under our control. He made them fall under us.

He subdued peoples under us, and nations under our feet.

He subdues the nations before us, putting our enemies beneath our feet.

He subdues peoples under us And nations under our feet.

He will subdue the peoples under us, And the nations under our feet.

This is the declaration of the LORD to my Lord:“ Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool.”

When they had brought the kings to him, Joshua summoned all the men of Israel and said to the military commanders who had accompanied him,“ Come here and put your feet on the necks of these kings.” So the commanders came forward and put their feet on their necks.Joshua said to them,“ Do not be afraid or discouraged. Be strong and courageous, for the LORD will do this to all the enemies you fight.”

How happy you are, Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the LORD? He is the shield that protects you, the sword you boast in. Your enemies will cringe before you, and you will tread on their backs.

He will transform the body of our humble condition into the likeness of his glorious body, by the power that enables him to subject everything to himself.

The LORD gave them rest on every side according to all he had sworn to their ancestors. None of their enemies were able to stand against them, for the LORD handed over all their enemies to them.
