You, God, are awesome in your sanctuary; the God of Israel gives power and strength to his people. Praise be to God!

Do not be terrified by them, for the Lord your God, who is among you, is a great and awesome God.

Who can withstand his indignation? Who can endure his fierce anger? His wrath is poured out like fire; the rocks are shattered before him.The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him,

He breaks the spirit of rulers; he is feared by the kings of the earth.

They called to the mountains and the rocks,“ Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can withstand it?”

They tell of the power of your awesome works— and I will proclaim your great deeds.
