他必在列國之間行審判，為許多別族之民斷定是非；他們必將刀打成犂頭，把矛打成鐮刀；這國不舉刀攻擊那國；大家都不再學習戰事。

永恆主發神諭說；當那日我必從你中間剪滅你的馬匹，毁壞你的車輛；

你國中必不再聽到強暴的事，你境內必不再聽到有毁滅和破毁；你必稱你的城牆為「拯救」，稱你的城門為「可頌可讚」。

在我的聖山地遍處、這一切都不傷人，不毁物；因為人之認識永恆主、必充滿了大地，如同水瀰漫着洋海一般。

約書亞就照永恆主所對他說的去處置他們；將他們的馬砍斷蹄筋，把他們的車輛放火去燒。

他必在許多別族之民間行審判，為遠方好多強盛的外國人斷定是非。他們必將刀打成犂頭，把矛打成鐮刀；這國不舉刀攻擊那國；大家都不再學習戰事。反而可以安坐、各在自己葡萄樹下，自己無花果樹下，也無人來驚嚇：因為萬軍之永恆主親口說了。

勇士的弓被折斷；疲弱的人以氣力束腰。

『住以色列城市的人必出去點火燒軍械；就是小盾大牌、弓、箭、梃杖、槍矛：都用來燒火，燒到七年；甚至他們也不必從田野上去撿柴，也不必從樹林裏去伐木；因為他們必用軍械去燒火；並且必搶那搶他們的人，劫那劫他們的人；這是主永恆主發神諭說的。

然後我必將你的弓從你左手上擊落，將你的箭從你右手上打掉。
