祂必在各國施行審判，為列邦平息紛爭。他們必將刀劍打成犁頭，把矛槍製成鐮刀。國與國不再刀兵相見，人們不用再學習戰事。

耶和華說：「到那日，我要消滅你們的戰馬，毀壞你們的戰車。

你國中再沒有暴力，境內再沒有破壞和毀滅的事；你必給你的城牆取名叫『拯救』，給你的城門取名叫『讚美』。

在我的整個聖山上，牠們都不傷人、不害物。認識耶和華的人必充滿天下，就像水充滿海洋一樣。

約書亞照耶和華的吩咐，砍斷他們馬匹的蹄筋，燒毀他們的戰車。

耶和華對約書亞說：「你不要懼怕他們。明天這個時候，我必把他們全部交給以色列人殺戮，你要砍斷他們馬匹的蹄筋，燒毀他們的戰車。」

祂在那裡摧毀敵人的火箭、盾牌和刀劍等兵器。（細拉）上帝啊，你榮耀無比，你的威嚴超過亙古群山。強敵被擄掠，他們倒地而亡，再也不能還手。雅各的上帝啊，你一斥責，他們就人仰馬翻。

祂要在各民族中施行審判，為遠方的強國斷定是非。他們要把刀劍鑄成犁頭，把矛槍打成鐮刀。國與國之間不再動刀槍，也不再學習戰爭。人人都安然坐在自己的葡萄樹和無花果樹下，不再擔驚受怕。這是萬軍之耶和華親口說的。

勇士的弓被折斷，軟弱的變為剛強。

「『以色列各城邑的居民都要出去撿兵器當柴燒，其中包括大小的盾牌、弓箭、矛槍等，足夠用七年。他們不必到田間拾柴，或到林中伐木，因為有兵器當燃料。他們要搶奪那些搶奪過他們的人，擄掠那些擄掠過他們的人。這是主耶和華說的。

我要打掉你左手的弓，擊落你右手的箭。
