Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas;

因此我們不害怕——即使大地變動，群山動搖陷入海中；

故雖大地變遷、山嶽震動、移於海心、

平陸震動、海島遷移、波濤洶湧、山嶽搖撼、我弗迷兮、

所以地雖震陷、山雖崩倒海中、我儕亦無恐懼、

主為吾人所依恃。大難臨頭可托庇。

Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,

The earth may fall apart. The mountains may fall into the middle of the sea. But we will not be afraid.

So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea.

Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

Therefore will we not fear, though the earth do change, And though the mountains be shaken into the heart of the seas;

Therefore we will not be afraid, though the earth trembles and the mountains topple into the depths of the seas,

For this reason we do not fear when the earth shakes, and the mountains tumble into the depths of the sea,

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

So that with good courage we say,“ The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

Though an army should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear. Though war should rise against me, even then I will be confident.

When you hear of wars and disturbances, don’t be terrified, for these things must happen first, but the end won’t come immediately.”Then he said to them,“ Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.There will be great earthquakes, famines, and plagues in various places. There will be terrors and great signs from heaven.

Then the earth shook and trembled. The foundations also of the mountains quaked and were shaken, because he was angry.

Jesus answered them,“ Most certainly I tell you, if you have faith, and don’t doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you told this mountain,‘ Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it would be done.

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will by no means pass away.

They don’t know, neither do they understand. They walk back and forth in darkness. All the foundations of the earth are shaken.

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will be dissolved with fervent heat, and the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.Therefore since all these things will be destroyed like this, what kind of people ought you to be in holy living and godliness,looking for and earnestly desiring the coming of the day of God, which will cause the burning heavens to be dissolved, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?But, according to his promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.Therefore, beloved, seeing that you look for these things, be diligent to be found in peace, without defect and blameless in his sight.

There will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars; and on the earth anxiety of nations, in perplexity for the roaring of the sea and the waves;men fainting for fear, and for expectation of the things which are coming on the world: for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.But when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is near.”
