你的香膏之馨香很美好；你的名如同倒出來的香膏；因此童女們都愛你。

感謝上帝時常得勝，帶領我們在基督裏做俘虜於凱旋的行列中，而藉着我們在各地方顯揚那因認識基督而有的氣味。因為無論在那得救着的人中間、或是在那滅亡着的人中間、我們都是基督馨香之氣、獻與上帝：對後一種人呢、就做徹頭徹尾死之氣味，對前一種人呢、就做徹頭徹尾活之氣味。要作這些事、誰能夠呢？

又有尼哥底母、先前夜裏來見耶穌的、也來了，帶着沒藥和沉香的混合品、約有一百磅。

你將生命的路徑使我知道；在你面前有滿足的歡喜；在你右手中有永久的福樂。

他們都歡喜快樂地被引導，大家進入王的宮殿。

那從曠野上來，好像煙柱，以沒藥和乳香而薰的，用來往商人的各樣香粉製造的，是甚麼呢？

亞哈其餘的事、凡他所行的，跟他所造的象牙宮、跟所建造的一切城市：不是都寫在《以色列諸王記》上麼？

我的妹妹、新婦啊，我進了我的園中，摘取了我的沒藥同香料，喫了我的蜜房同蜂蜜，喝了我的酒同奶子。朋友啊，喫吧！喝吧！沉醉於愛情中哦！

我以我的愛人為一口袋沒藥，晝夜不離地在我胸懷間。

他的兩腮如香花苗床，如香草臺；他的嘴脣像百合花，滴下沒藥汁。

轉臉注視着信仰上的開創者和完成者耶穌：他為了那擺在他前頭的喜樂，就堅忍着十字架，輕看羞辱，如今已在上帝的右邊坐着呢。
