其得斯土、非恃己刃、其得拯救、非賴己臂、乃賴爾之右手與臂、乃爾容光、以爾悅之兮、

斯民得土、不恃戈兵、不藉人力、乃爾巨力大能、眷顧而祐之兮。

我列祖非仗兵刃得地、亦非恃己之勇力得勝、乃賴主之右手、主之聖臂、主面上之榮光、因蒙主喜悅、

親手逐諸夷。吾族蒙建立。諸夷皆衰落。吾族獨發達。

It was not by their sword that they won the land, nor did their arm bring them victory; it was your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, for you loved them.

They didn’t win the land with their swords. They didn’t gain success by their own power. Your powerful right hand and your mighty arm gave them victory. You gave them success because you loved them.

for not by their own sword did they win the land, nor did their own arm save them, but your right hand and your arm, and the light of your face, for you delighted in them.

They did not conquer the land with their swords; it was not their own strong arm that gave them victory. It was your right hand and strong arm and the blinding light from your face that helped them, for you loved them.

耶和华专爱你们，拣选你们，并非因你们人数比任何民族多，其实你们的人数在各民族中是最少的。因为耶和华爱你们，又因要遵守他向你们列祖所起的誓，耶和华就用大能的手领你们出来，救赎你脱离为奴之家，脱离埃及王法老的手。

我派遣瘟疫在你们前面，将亚摩利人的两个王从你们面前赶出，并不是用你的刀，也不是用你的弓。

你心里说：‘这财富是我的力量、我手的能力得来的。’你要记得耶和华—你的上帝，因为得财富的能力是他给你的，为要坚守他向你列祖起誓所立的约，像今日一样。

然而，耶和华专爱你的列祖，爱他们，从万民中拣选你们，就是他们的后裔，像今日一样。

惊骇恐惧临到他们；耶和华啊，因你膀臂的大能，他们如石头寂静不动，等候你百姓过去，等候你所赎的百姓过去。

我的心哪，你为何忧闷？为何在我里面烦躁？应当仰望上帝，我还要称谢他，我当面的拯救，

不但如此，利百加也是这样。她从一个人，就是从我们的祖宗以撒怀了孕。双胞胎还没有生下来，善恶还没有行出来，为要贯彻上帝拣选人的旨意，不是凭着人的行为，而是凭着那呼召人的，上帝就对利百加说：“将来，大的要服侍小的。”正如经上所记：“雅各是我所爱的；以扫是我所恶的。”这样，我们要怎么说呢？难道上帝有什么不义吗？绝对没有！因他对摩西说：“我要怜悯谁就怜悯谁，要恩待谁就恩待谁。”

我的心哪，你为何忧闷？为何在我里面烦躁？应当仰望上帝，我还要称谢他，我当面的拯救，我的上帝。

因为他爱你的列祖，拣选他们的后裔，亲自用大能领你出了埃及，要将比你强大的列国从你面前赶出，领你进去，把他们的地赐你为业，像今日一样。

求你显出你奇妙的慈爱，你用右手拯救投靠你的人，脱离那起来攻击他们的人。

你为什么缩回你的右手？求你从怀中伸出手来，毁灭他们。

现在我知道耶和华必救护他的受膏者，从他神圣的天上应允他，用右手的能力救护他。

有许多人说：“谁能指示我们什么好处？耶和华啊，求你用你脸上的光照耀我们。”

耶和华必因他大名的缘故不撇弃他的子民，因为耶和华喜悦你们作他的子民。

他回答我说：“这是耶和华指示所罗巴伯的话。万军之耶和华说：不是倚靠势力，不是倚靠才能，乃是倚靠我的灵方能成事。

耶和华若喜爱我们，就必领我们进入那地，把这流奶与蜜之地赐给我们。

你曾用膀臂赎了你的子民，就是雅各和约瑟的子孙。（细拉）

我们有这宝贝放在瓦器里，为要显明这莫大的能力是出于上帝，不是出于我们。

以荣耀的膀臂在摩西右边行动，在百姓面前将水分开，为要建立自己永远的名，

耶和华说：“我曾爱你们。”你们却说：“你在何事上爱我们呢？”耶和华说：“以扫不是雅各的哥哥吗？我却爱雅各，恶以扫，使他的山岭荒凉，把他的地业交给旷野的野狗。”

这树已经被火焚烧，被刀砍伐，因你脸上的怒容就灭亡了。
