其得斯土、非恃己刃、其得拯救、非賴己臂、乃賴爾之右手與臂、乃爾容光、以爾悅之兮、

斯民得土、不恃戈兵、不藉人力、乃爾巨力大能、眷顧而祐之兮。

我列祖非仗兵刃得地、亦非恃己之勇力得勝、乃賴主之右手、主之聖臂、主面上之榮光、因蒙主喜悅、

親手逐諸夷。吾族蒙建立。諸夷皆衰落。吾族獨發達。

It was not by their sword that they won the land, nor did their arm bring them victory; it was your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, for you loved them.

They didn’t win the land with their swords. They didn’t gain success by their own power. Your powerful right hand and your mighty arm gave them victory. You gave them success because you loved them.

for not by their own sword did they win the land, nor did their own arm save them, but your right hand and your arm, and the light of your face, for you delighted in them.

They did not conquer the land with their swords; it was not their own strong arm that gave them victory. It was your right hand and strong arm and the blinding light from your face that helped them, for you loved them.

耶和華專愛你們，揀選你們，並非因你們人數比任何民族多，其實你們的人數在各民族中是最少的。因為耶和華愛你們，又因要遵守他向你們列祖所起的誓，耶和華就用大能的手領你們出來，救贖你脫離為奴之家，脫離埃及王法老的手。

我派遣瘟疫在你們前面，將亞摩利人的兩個王從你們面前趕出，並不是用你的刀，也不是用你的弓。

你心裏說：『這財富是我的力量、我手的能力得來的。』你要記得耶和華－你的神，因為得財富的能力是他給你的，為要堅守他向你列祖起誓所立的約，像今日一樣。

然而，耶和華專愛你的列祖，愛他們，從萬民中揀選你們，就是他們的後裔，像今日一樣。

驚駭恐懼臨到他們；耶和華啊，因你膀臂的大能，他們如石頭寂靜不動，等候你百姓過去，等候你所贖的百姓過去。

我的心哪，你為何憂悶？為何在我裏面煩躁？應當仰望神，我還要稱謝他，我當面的拯救，

不但如此，利百加也是這樣。她從一個人，就是從我們的祖宗以撒懷了孕。雙胞胎還沒有生下來，善惡還沒有行出來，為要貫徹神揀選人的旨意，不是憑着人的行為，而是憑着那呼召人的，神就對利百加說：「將來，大的要服侍小的。」正如經上所記：「雅各是我所愛的；以掃是我所惡的。」這樣，我們要怎麼說呢？難道神有甚麼不義嗎？絕對沒有！因他對摩西說：「我要憐憫誰就憐憫誰，要恩待誰就恩待誰。」

我的心哪，你為何憂悶？為何在我裏面煩躁？應當仰望神，我還要稱謝他，我當面的拯救，我的神。

因為他愛你的列祖，揀選他們的後裔，親自用大能領你出了埃及，要將比你強大的列國從你面前趕出，領你進去，把他們的地賜你為業，像今日一樣。

求你顯出你奇妙的慈愛，你用右手拯救投靠你的人，脫離那起來攻擊他們的人。

你為甚麼縮回你的右手？求你從懷中伸出手來，毀滅他們。

現在我知道耶和華必救護他的受膏者，從他神聖的天上應允他，用右手的能力救護他。

有許多人說：「誰能指示我們甚麼好處？耶和華啊，求你用你臉上的光照耀我們。」

耶和華必因他大名的緣故不撇棄他的子民，因為耶和華喜悅你們作他的子民。

他回答我說：「這是耶和華指示所羅巴伯的話。萬軍之耶和華說：不是倚靠勢力，不是倚靠才能，乃是倚靠我的靈方能成事。

耶和華若喜愛我們，就必領我們進入那地，把這流奶與蜜之地賜給我們。

你曾用膀臂贖了你的子民，就是雅各和約瑟的子孫。（細拉）

我們有這寶貝放在瓦器裏，為要顯明這莫大的能力是出於神，不是出於我們。

以榮耀的膀臂在摩西右邊行動，在百姓面前將水分開，為要建立自己永遠的名，

耶和華說：「我曾愛你們。」你們卻說：「你在何事上愛我們呢？」耶和華說：「以掃不是雅各的哥哥嗎？我卻愛雅各，惡以掃，使他的山嶺荒涼，把他的地業交給曠野的野狗。」

這樹已經被火焚燒，被刀砍伐，因你臉上的怒容就滅亡了。
