我心何為而抑鬱、中懷何為而煩擾、企望上帝、彼和顏而施救、我仍頌之兮、○

我何拳曲不勝、中心不安、仰望上帝、必得眷祐、而頌美之兮、

我心為何抑鬱、為何煩惱、當仰望天主、天主仍必面向我、拯救我、我因而頌揚天主、

憶昔領導群眾兮。同登聖所。舉國狂歡兮。如享佳節之大酺。撫今思昔兮。予心鬱悒以悲苦。

Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.

My spirit, why are you so sad? Why are you so upset deep down inside me? Put your hope in God. Once again I will have reason to praise him. He is my Savior and my God.

Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and

Why are you in despair, my soul? And why are you restless within me? Wait for God, for I will again praise Him For the help of His presence, my God.

Why am I so depressed? Why this turmoil within me? Put your hope in God, for I will still praise Him, my Savior and my God.

Why are you depressed, O my soul? Why are you upset? Wait for God! For I will again give thanks to my God for his saving intervention.

Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him for the saving help of his presence.

Rest in Jehovah, and wait patiently for him: Fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, Because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

From the end of the earth will I call unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

For ye have need of patience, that, having done the will of God, ye may receive the promise.For yet a very little while, He that cometh shall come, and shall not tarry.

Jehovah is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.Jehovah is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.It is good that a man should hope and quietly wait for the salvation of Jehovah.

I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of Jehovah In the land of the living.Wait for Jehovah: Be strong, and let thy heart take courage; Yea, wait thou for Jehovah.

But I will hope continually, And will praise thee yet more and more.

In God have I put my trust, I will not be afraid; What can man do unto me?

He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble: I will deliver him, and honor him.With long life will I satisfy him, And show him my salvation.

And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be greatly amazed, and sore troubled.And he saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful even unto death: abide ye here, and watch.

Who is among you that feareth Jehovah, that obeyeth the voice of his servant? he that walketh in darkness, and hath no light, let him trust in the name of Jehovah, and rely upon his God.

I behaved myself as though it had been my friend or my brother: I bowed down mourning, as one that bewaileth his mother.

For the enemy hath persecuted my soul; He hath smitten my life down to the ground: He hath made me to dwell in dark places, as those that have been long dead.Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed within me; My heart within me is desolate.

I pour out my complaint before him; I show before him my trouble.When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, Thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walk Have they hidden a snare for me.

teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.

I am pained and bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long.

Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: abide ye here, and watch with me.
