敢告天主。我罪實多。求主垂憐。逐此病魔。

My enemies say of me in malice,“ When will he die and his name perish?”

My enemies are saying bad things about me. They say,“ When will he die and his name be forgotten?”

But my enemies say nothing but evil about me.“ How soon will he die and be forgotten?” they ask.

The memory of the righteous is blessed, but the name of the wicked will rot.

They also who seek after my life lay snares. Those who seek my hurt speak mischievous things, and meditate deceits all day long.

yet he will perish forever like his own dung. Those who have seen him will say,‘ Where is he?’

My enemies reproach me all day. Those who are mad at me use my name as a curse.

His memory will perish from the earth. He will have no name in the street.

But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised by the people.All those who see me mock me. They insult me with their lips. They shake their heads, saying,“ He trusts in Yahweh. Let him deliver him. Let him rescue him, since he delights in him.”
