And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick and the Lord will raise him up– and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.So confess your sins to one another and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great effectiveness.

“ Come on! Let’s return to the LORD! He himself has torn us to pieces, but he will heal us! He has injured us, but he will bandage our wounds!

Then I confessed my sin; I no longer covered up my wrongdoing. I said,“ I will confess my rebellious acts to the LORD.” And then you forgave my sins.( Selah)

Have mercy on me, O God, because of your loyal love! Because of your great compassion, wipe away my rebellious acts!Wash away my wrongdoing! Cleanse me of my sin!For I am aware of my rebellious acts; I am forever conscious of my sin.Against you– you above all– I have sinned; I have done what is evil in your sight. So you are just when you confront me; you are right when you condemn me.

For Hezekiah prayed for them, saying:“ May the LORD, who is good, forgiveeveryone who has determined to follow God, the LORD God of his ancestors, even if he is not ceremonially clean according to the standards of the temple.”The LORD responded favorably to Hezekiah and forgave the people.
