敬畏耶和華、遵行祂旨意的人有福了！你必享受自己的勞動成果，得到祝福，行事亨通。你妻子在家中生養眾多，像結實纍纍的葡萄樹，你的桌子周圍坐滿了你的兒女，如同橄欖樹苗。這就是敬畏耶和華的人所蒙的福氣。願耶和華從錫安山賜福給你！願你一生一世都看見耶路撒冷興旺！願你與兒孫同堂！願平安臨到以色列！

祂必救你脫離獵人的網羅和致命的瘟疫。祂必用祂的羽毛遮蓋你，用祂的雙翼保護你，祂的信實是你的盾牌和壁壘。你必不懼怕黑夜的恐怖，或白日的飛箭，或黑暗中橫行的瘟疫，或正午肆虐的災難。儘管千人仆倒在你左邊，萬人在你右邊，你必安然無恙。
