I proclaim your saving acts in the great assembly; I do not seal my lips, Lord, as you know.

I have told the whole community of those who worship you. I have told them what you have done to save me. Lord, you know that I haven’t kept quiet.

I have told the glad news of deliverance in the great congregation; behold, I have not restrained my lips, as you know, O Lord.

I have told all your people about your justice. I have not been afraid to speak out, as you, O Lord, well know.

I proclaim righteousness in the great assembly; see, I do not keep my mouth closed— as you know, LORD.

Now Jesus came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, as was his custom. He stood up to read,and the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was given to him. He unrolled the scroll and found the place where it was written,“ The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and the regaining of sight to the blind, to set free those who are oppressed,to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant, and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fixed on him.Then he began to tell them,“ Today this scripture has been fulfilled even as you heard it being read.”All were speaking well of him, and were amazed at the gracious words coming out of his mouth. They said,“ Isn’t this Joseph’s son?”

Then I will give you thanks in the great assembly; I will praise you before a large crowd of people!

“ El, God, the LORD! El, God, the LORD! He knows the truth! Israel must also know! If we have rebelled or disobeyed the LORD, don’t spare us today!

saying,“ I will proclaim your name to my brothers; in the midst of the assembly I will praise you.”

You know when I sit down and when I get up; even from far away you understand my motives.

He said to them,“ Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.The one who believes and is baptized will be saved, but the one who does not believe will be condemned.

May praise flow freely from my lips, for you teach me your statutes.May my tongue sing about your instructions, for all your commands are just.

Jesus said a third time,“ Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter was distressed that Jesus asked him a third time,“ Do you love me?” and said,“ Lord, you know everything. You know that I love you.” Jesus replied,“ Feed my sheep.
