You didn’t want sacrifices and offerings. You didn’t require burnt offerings and sin offerings. You opened my ears so that I could hear you and obey you.

In sacrifice and offering you have not delighted, but you have given me an open ear. Burnt offering and sin offering you have not required.

耶和華曰、恆獻禮物、與我何與、爾燔牡綿羊、焚肥畜之膋、我所厭惡、牛犢羔羊、牡山羊之血、我不悅懌。

故基督臨世、曰、主不欲以牲牷祭祀、乃使我成人身以祀之、燔祭贖罪爾不喜、典籍載我、我自降臨、遵上帝旨、上既言牲牷祭祀爾不欲、燔祭贖罪爾不喜、此皆遵律法而獻者、後則言吾自臨、遵上帝旨、以是而觀、上帝於其先者除之、於其後者立之、明矣、耶穌基督遵斯旨、一獻其身、則我之罪贖、凡祭司日立服事、屢獻其祭、而不能免人罪、惟基督、既一獻祭、以贖人罪、則恆坐上帝右、

撒母耳曰、耶和華豈以燔祭禮物為喜、不以聽從其命為喜乎。夫聽命較獻祭尤善、遵言較羊脂愈美。

燔祭禮物、爾所不欲、欲則予必獻之兮、

言提其耳、靜謐示之、

雖獻燔祭禮物、我不悅納、雖供肥犢為酬恩之祭、我不眷顧、

以色列族之上帝、萬有之主、耶和華曰、燔祭之肉、爾可食之、與禮物無異。昔我導爾祖出埃及、我諭以命、不第為燔祭禮物也、我所諭者、及使其敬聽我言、我必為其上帝、彼將為我民、如遵我命、必獲享通。

我欲矜恤、不欲祭祀、寧崇我道、毋獻燔祭、

我欲矜恤、不欲祭祀、其意云何、爾如知此、則不擬無罪者矣、

但往學我欲矜恤、不欲祭祀之語、其意何歟、蓋我來、非招義人、乃招罪人悔改耳、○

則其主必攜之至士師、附門或門橛、以鑽貫耳、俾僕恆事其主。

受膏者曰、主耶和華助予、使我崇朝儆醒傾耳諦聽若弟子之受教、如是則能善為說辭、慰藉困苦之人。主耶和華使我耳聰而不違。

彼縱私心、以何惡之事為悅、故宰牛刲羊、與殺人斬犬無異、獻禮焚香與塗豕血、祈偶像無異。

昔爾燔祭、恆獻禮物、我不以此罪爾兮、
